And here we go again. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug and I’m your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s roll.

How does Wheeler Yuma still have a title? He misses 4 months without defending it and he’s still champion? I guess ROH is ok with shelving a title instead of crowning a new champion.

It is kind of surprising how quickly Edge vacated the TNT Championship, while Yuma keeps his belts despite not wrestling, and Athena is injured, but won’t be relinquishing her title either. I remember a day when injuries occurred, that AEW would appoint Interim Champions, but I guess those days are over. AEW doesn’t appear to have a consistent policy regarding championship titles and the requirements attached to each belt. Why am I not surprised?

Will Samoa Joe turn on Hook?

More likely, Hook will turn on Joe, but regardless of who turns on who, they’ll be feuding by the end of the summer.

How do you feel about the Royal Rumble possibly being held in February next year?

I don’t have any feelings about it. The Rumble is usually a really good show and I don’t care when they hold it or where for that matter so long as the show is entertaining and full of action and excitement.

The best brother tag team in professional wrestling?

This is a tough one because there are so many options, such as The Briscoes, The Brisco Brothers, Harlem Heat, The Usos, Dustin & Cody Rhodes, Barry & Kendall Windham, The Von Erich Brothers, The Hardy Boys, Ron & Don Harris, Mark & Jay Youngblood, Keith & Kent Cole, The MulkeyBrothers, Bret & Owen Hart, etc. And the best? They weren’t real-life brothers, but considering they were a team for over twenty years and were as close as two brothers could be, Ole & Gene Anderson, the Minnesota Wrecking Crew.

The Undertaker versus Gunther. Who wins?

As great as Gunther is and will be in the future, how can anyone bet against The Undertaker? I can’t. Taker wins.

Wade Barrett went on a tirade about CM Punk after Clash at the Castle, demanding that WWE fire Punk, etc. Will Wade Barrett end up as Drew McIntyre’s manager?

It’s an interesting idea, but I don’t think it will happen. I think the whole CM Punk rampage is more of an attempt to make Wade more of a heel persona as the color commentary guy with Corey Graves more than anything else. Barrett would make a good manager, but I can’t see him giving up the job on Smackdown to take that role.

In your opinion – since WWE is an entertainment company that makes and changes the rules as they see fit – when Logan Paul eventually goes into the Hall of Fame, should he be in the celebrity wing? He wrestles, but I don’t think anyone would say he’s (currently) working in wrestling full-time unless they have a bad-faith definition of “full-time basis.”

When Logan’s career has ended and he’s inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, I expect to see him go in as a regular wrestler. He’s far better than any celebrity inductee and has taken every step of his WWE career in a serious and real fashion. He’s put in the work and effort and when it comes time to reap the benefits, he deserves the full credit.

With the Rock’s daughter running NXT, do you think there should be an occasional Bloodline appearance whenever someone on the roster pisses her off? I’m not saying full heel. She acts fairly most of the time but guys who act up suddenly get smacked around backstage by Tama Tonga or something.

Ava has been kind of vanilla and boring thus far in her role as the General Manager of NXT and something like that, bringing in the occasional enforcer to take care of problems would add a necessary edge to the character. Maybe bring in Tamina as her personal security and bodyguard? It would be cool and certainly couldn’t hurt.

Would Bobby Heenan have been successful as a manager in WCW?

Bobby Heenan would have been successful at anything he wanted to do. I think his neck injuries and not being able to take any kind of bumps might hinder him a bit for a managerial role, but Bobby was so good with the talk, it wouldn’t have mattered. I think Bobby just preferred to be a commentator instead.

Now that he’s finished with wrestling, would you be interested in seeing a movie with The Undertaker as the central character?

Move over Freddy, Jason, and Michael Myers. A series of horror flicks starring The Undertaker? That sounds like money to me. Is WWE Films still in existance? Maybe they could give it a shot

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap this up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for that damn Wyatt Sicks and I’ll see you at the matches.
