Kayla Braxton, after 8-years with the WWE, announced that she’s leaving next week to pursue a new chapter. Thoughts?

Kayla has had a great career with the WWE, and I’m guessing that she feels it’s time to move on. I’m sure that if things don’t work out, she’ll be more than welcome to return. Best of luck to Kayla in her future endeavors. She will be missed.

Big Mama (Jimmy Valiant’s Old Lady) versus Mother Wayne (Nick Wayne’s Mom). Who wins?

Big Mama, aka Felicia Fanning, was Jimmy Valiant’s wife at the time and worked as his valet in 1986 when Valiant was wrapping up his feud with Paul Jones. Mother Wayne doesn’t strike me as a woman who has been in many fights in her life. Big Mama comes across as a true scrapper who will throw down with anyone who wants to have a go. Big Mama wins.

I was watching Nick Aldis confront Drew McIntyre on Smackdown. When will we see Aldis step back inside the ring and wrestle? And who would you like to see him wrestle against?

Aldis was a great NWA Champion and I would love to see him step back into that ring and wrestle the occasional match. I was hoping that maybe we’ll see Aldis versus Adam Pearce in a Battle of the General Managers at Survivor Series as they’ve had some great battles in the past. Aldis versus Logan Paul would be really good as well and make for an exciting feud.

What 3 wrestlers are you enjoying the most right now?

Of the current active roster, I’m enjoying the antics of CM Punk against Drew McIntyre, the Dominik, Liv, and Balor love triangle on RAW, and the antics of Chelsea Green more than anything else.

Did Jacob Fatu’s WWE debut live up to the hype?

He came and he kicked ass. Yes, I think the debut worked well and Jacob Fatu looked like a dangerous, crazy dude. It lived up to the hype and now I’m looking forward to seeing more.

Would you like to see CM Punk and Paul Heyman reunite long-term? Or were you happy with this as a WWE one-off?

Heyman doesn’t need Punk and Punk doesn’t need Heyman, but the occasional pairing works for me when it happens. Less is more and the one-off worked well. If it leads to a short-term partnership, maybe even involving Brock and Roman as well, so be it. But long term isn’t necessary.

Out of Wrestlemania and the Super Bowl, if WM is in Saudi Arabia and the Super Bowl is in London, which one would piss off the fans the most?

The Super Bowl being held in London would piss off more people because more people watch football than wrestling. But Mania in Saudi Arabia would affect and piss off the wrestling fans more. It would hurt the WWE and they would lose a lot of fans with that move. Other PLEs in Saudi Arabia might be tolerated, but Mania belongs in the United States and nowhere else.

What one thing does each company – AEW and WWE need to change immediately to help the product in 2024?

For AEW, they need to create characters, tell stories, and give the matches a reason for happening. For WWE, I’d go with renewed focus on the Women’s division and the Tag Team division as both seem to be neglected as of late and are on the downslide.

Abraham Lincoln was an outstanding amateur wrestler in his younger days with a 300 -1 record. Who from today’s political scene would you put up against him?

Maybe it’s stacking the deck and unfair, but against Honest Abe, I’d throw in Mayor Glenn Jacobs. Yeah, I’m putting in a ringer. Why not? He’s a politician and a wrestler so he qualifies.

Sherri Martel versus Victoria. Who wins?

Two amazing women with very unique characters, this is an instant classic. Tough call as well since both women were so excellent at what they did inside that ring. No disrespect to Sherri, but I think Victoria would take the win in this one.
