As most regular readers of this site have long realized, I love to do Q&A’s. Sometimes it’s wrestling, sometimes it’s politics, sometimes it’s questions from Facebook and sometimes, it’s a full fledged survey that I found somewhere. And now, we have this one where it’s “all of the above”. Here’s the situation. It’s raining and storming outside and I’m bored. In roughly 45 minutes or so, I can go over to the WWE Network and watch the pay-per-view for tonight, but shall I do until then? I can watch Property Brothers on HGTV, but that’s only mildly distracting and isn’t keeping my interest as it should. So mix the wrestling and the fandom and the politics and I’ll just sit here and drink. Oops! My bad! I don’t drink anymore so I’ll do a multitude of questions and it’ll help to pass the time. I’d rather be drinking. Oh well, let’s just do this. Enjoy!

Ryback Says Women Wrestlers Should Play Up To Their Sexiness and Shake Their Ass. What are your views on what Ryback said?

Ryback is an idiot and so full of himself, who gives a damn what he says. But if a woman wrestler is hot and sexy, she should play it up and use it to her advantage if she can. I agree with that, but I’d say that about any wrestler, be it man or woman. Use every tool available to you to get yourself over with the fans. If you can talk, then talk. If you’re a brawler, then brawl. And if you’re hot as hell, then shake that booty and be hot as hell. But it’s only a tool and if you can’t actually wrestle or go in that ring, where it matters, then none of the rest really matters.

Who will take the WWE Championship from Jinder Mahal?

This was a poll question and there was a list of names from the current Smackdown Live roster, but I don’t need no stinking list. I hope that Jinder has a long time to be the WWE Champion until he gives up that title, many more months to be exact. And when he loses that belt, I’m thinking that the next WWE Champion will end up being AJ Styles.

Has Enzo Amore won you over with his “never say die” attitude since splitting with Big Cass?

Nope. I was never a big fan of his before the split with Cass and I’m not a big fan of his now. He’s more annoying then amusing and my favorite part of watching Enzo is when he’s getting his ass kicked. ‘Nuff said!

X-Men fans! Who is your fav mutant ever, and why?

So many choices and this is a hard decision to make. I can’t really pick just one so I’ll do my favorite three. It’s my blog so I can do that. It would be a three-way tie between Bobby Drake, aka “The Iceman”, “The Master of Magnetism”, Magneto and finally, Alpha Flight’s own Jean Paul Beaubier, aka “Northstar”. Which tv shows that ended or were cancelled, do you miss?

I rarely watch television except for wrestling or a few shows here and there, but some shows that I did get into and watched regularly were The Drew Carey Show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Gong Show and the new Dallas that was showing on TNT. I really did like and enjoy the continuation of the original Dallas series, but after Larry Hagman, aka “JR Ewing” passed away, I understand why it was cancelled.

Best and worst movie adaptations of books.

The Harry Potter movies were well done, as were the Twilight movies, but the books were much better to be honest. The movies based on the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice were hit and miss. I enjoyed “Interview With A Vampire” when it originally came out since it was based on one of my favorite books, but then I watched “Queen of the Damned” and was like, what the hell happened. The titles of the book and the movie and the names of the characters might be the same, but the movie was so off target, it was just sad.

What was your favorite CHILDHOOD fandom?

As a child, I was obsessed with The Super Friends, the Six Million Dollar Man series and of course, the Hanna Barbara stuff like the “Laff-A-Lympics”. And Alice Cooper and Waylon Jennings. I started way early being a fan of those two men.

A Mississippi judge declared the Confederate flag an “anti-American symbol.” What do you think of his ruling?

I think that idiot needs to go back and study history and take his head out from his ass. The Confederate flag, love it or hate it, is a big part of American history and American culture. For some, it’s a symbol of states rights and of pride in standing up against the tyranny of the federal government. For others, it’s just a part of the history and a reminder of the “war between the states”. Everyone, be it fan or foe, has their own opinion of what the “Stars & Bars” represents, but all will agree that it’s part of United States history and a piece of our culture that holds a prominent spot in our lives. This judge needs to grow up, shut up, and kiss our collective grits.

Trump has proven that he’ll do whatever he thinks is right — regardless of whether it makes some people uncomfortable. Is that a trait you like to see in a president?

Absolutely. After so many years of having a President who had no convictions or pride, we now have a man who sticks to his guns and will take the unpopular choice if that’s what is better in the long run for our nation. Trump is like the mean parent who is now taking control of his children (us) after we have had years of being spoiled and given everything we want by our other parent, regardless of if it’s good for us or necessary. We may not like what he’s doing all the time, but he’s looking out for us and our interests when we won’t or can’t do it ourselves. And we get uncomfortable and call him bad, but he’s doing what needs to be done and is for the best. Who cares if he makes a few people uncomfortable so long as it works. We need more like Trump, not less. Kudos to “the Donald”.
