Let’s do that Q&A that doesn’t hold back, the Ulimate Wrestling Q&A. We’re keeping it real! Let’s go.

Sgt. Slaughter’s daughter recently took to Twitter to call out Lacey Evans’ new look, blasting Evans & WWE for ripping off her father’s look & gimmick. Thoughts?

If it’s a kayfabe story trying to find a way to bring Slaughter in as Lacey Evan’s mentor, it’s already backfired and blown up in their faces. And if it’s a real shoot, it’s not good because Lacey called out Sarge as a fake Marine, who has repeatedly been accused of stolen valor, and pointed out she’s the real deal. I’m sure this won’t do the idea of any potential push for Evans any favors and I’m sure Triple H isn’t happy. It’s just a shit show, nothing else.

Kris Statlander came out and beat the champ after a hard-fought match. That means she is a heel, right?

Taking advantage of a wrestler who’s already wrestled? That’s definitely a heel move to me.

Who was the better tag team? The Steiner’s or Harlem Heat?

As a team, I think Harlem Heat, especially when they had Sherri Martel as their manager, was better as a team. The Steiners were tough and legit badass wrestlers, but I was just never much of a fan. I much preferred watching Booker & Stevie Ray do their stuff.

Bastion Booger versus Van Hammer. Who wins?

Booger was nothing but a comedy character, but Hammer just sucked big time. He had a great look, but except for a clothesline, he didn’t do much. Booger, under his previous identities of Mike Shaw, Norman the Lunatic, and Makhan Singh, was a damn good wrestler. Booger wins.

Which was the better long-term story? The McMahon versus Austin feud or the Bloodline Saga?

It’s a tough call, but as great as the Bloodline story has been, Mr. McMahon versus Steve Austin’s story set the bar and laid the groundwork for wrestling stories to come. So McMahon/Austin would win.

Who is the most over performer in the business right now, and why is it, LA Knight?

LA Knight is getting some big pops, but the most over has to be Rhea Ripley and Dominik. It’s not even close to everyone else.

Stokley Hathaway & Jerry Lynn have been named to the ROH Board of Directors, the on-camera Authority Figures for ROH. Thoughts?

It’s a good idea in my opinion to give ROH some on-screen authority figures to make it stand out and be different from AEW. Lynn is a great choice and Stokely? I guess Teddy Long wasn’t returning calls, but he’ll work. Tony would be smart to do with AEW Dynamite and Collison as well, to keep himself out of the picture and behind the scenes, as he promised he would be when AEW first debuted, as possible.

There are rumors again about a Hurt Business reunion with Lashley, Cedric Alexander, Shelton Benjamin & MVP. Should WWE bring these guys back together as a unit?

Alexander & Shelton were decimated by Veer & Sanga last night on RAW so it makes sense they’ll come looking for revenge and what better way to seek retribution than to have Bobby Lashley, who’s not doing anything right now, come in as their backup to counter the presence of Jinder Mahal? It could be a fun, six-man feud and even have MVP & Omos join in at some point. What else are they doing right now? So yeah, reunite the Hurt Business, and let’s see this feud happen. It could be fun.

Roman Reigns versus (in his prime) Bob Backlund. Who wins?

Roman may be the Head of the Table, but I think, in his prime, Mr. Backlund would take him down.

Was the Disco Inferno, in your opinion, a jobber in WCW?

A jobber doesn’t have multiple reigns as the World Television Champion, The Cruiserweight Champion, and the World Tag Team Champion, nor does a jobber have some of the highest rating segments of the television ratings and act as an associate of the nWo Wolfpac. Disco was a mid-carder to be sure, but a jobber and preliminary guy? Never.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. And with tha, let’s wrap things up. Take care and stay well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
