You’ve got questions and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

If, hypothetically, you had a bunch of massive stars in your wrestling company that had a well-publicized brawl, but then all agreed to work together in the future, wouldn’t you want it to seem like they hated each other and that it could never happen?

Yes…

Since he hasn’t been able to have a significant run, do you think Wardlow will ever become a main eventer in AEW?

If someone else takes over the booking, it’s possible, but so long as Tony Khan’s ADHD snowball booking is dominating the AEW picture, I seriously doubt it. Wardlow will get a small push, get buried and forgotten for six months, and then it’s wash, rinse, repeat.

With AEW putting collision on a Saturday night, do you think WWE will move PPVs back to a Sunday night?

Nope. WWE likes having the PPVs on Saturday night and they’re not going to change things up to make it easier and better for AEW. I can’t see that happening.

Do you think Karrion Kross is due a big push? Maybe a mid-card title? New finishing move – beat AJ – potentially.

I’d like to see Kross go back more to what he was doing in NXT first because the current character he’s doing on the main roster, while it has some potential, has been buried since Day 1, and will be harder to get over with a crowd that has already seen it crapped on since day one. But Kross remains an HHH favorite so there’s always hope.

How much of the current situation lies with Tony Khan and his lack of experience dealing with wrestlers?

All of it. Would any of this happen in WWE under Vince McMahon or even Triple H? No, it wouldn’t because they know how to separate business and friendships, a skill Tony has yet to learn or master. Until Tony grows a set and learns to manage people, it’s not going to get any better.

If you could book 2 matches for the All in PPV, what would they be?

Fuego Del Sol versus Aaron Solo because they are two very underrated talents and deserve a push. And the other? Let’s go with CM Punk versus Samoa Joe. They’ve planted the seeds on Collision and now I want to see the match, so why not at All In? Book it, Tony.

How do you feel about making Rampage an all-women’s show?

If AEW had a strong women’s roster with talent who can talk, work and have strong, entertaining matches, I’d save give it a shot, but AEW is majorly lacking in all of those, and changing to an all-women’s show would destroy the show and drive away the few fans that still watch. It would be a disaster.

With Gunther set to break the record for the longest IC Title reign. Do you think Honky Tonk Man will show up at some point to try and stop him?

It wouldn’t surprise me to see a cameo from HTM. Maybe have him confront Gunther and go for a guitar shot, but only to eat a chop or something. Then whoever Gunther’s current rival is, most likely Riddle, can run in, make the save, and set up a match against Gunther for the belt. Sounds good to me.

How does the Bloodline story end? I don’t want it to yet, but of course it will. What’s the way to end it?

I don’t want it to end either, but the most logical way I can see is to have Solo Sikoa turn on Roman, join his brothers, and have someone take the belts off of Roman, most likely Cody. Then Roman takes a break for a while while the Usos go after the tag belts and Solo goes after the U.S. or IC title. Things die down for a bit and all is quiet, and then Roman returns with a couple of other family members to get revenge and it all begins again.

So, Punk tries to reach out to the Bucks (EVPs of the company he works for) and is hit with replies from attorneys telling him not to contact them. In what world is an employee not permitted to speak to their “boss”? Sounds like a wonderful company structure.

When the “bosses” are immature children who have no purpose for being in that position and the main boss is too weak to take control and handle things, stuff like this happens. Punk tried to do the right thing and the Bucks showed what petty little jokes they truly are. Yeah, AEW is a mess with no structure or accountability and Tony Khan has only one person he can blame for it all. Himself.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
