Let’s do the Q&A. The Ultimate Wrestling Q&A starts right now. Let’s go.

With the current landscape of The Bloodline storyline, If you were to add The Rock to the mix, how would you do it?

It’d be pretty simple. The Rock shows up on Smackdown and calls out Roman, The Usos, Solo, etc to the ring. He explains how he’s a very busy man, but he can’t stand seeing family fighting each other, and as the true Head of the Table & Tribal Chief, it’s his place to fix things. And then, he insinuates where the blame belongs (Roman) and they have a face-off. And just take it from there.

What are your thoughts on Rhea’s current reign?

I’d like to see her have more competitive matches than just Natalya, but so far, so good. She’s getting a lot of television time as part of The Judgement Day, and her character is getting more popular and growing every week. I can’t see any major issues thus far.

Translate what “Shucky Ducky QUACK QUACK!” Means?

Only Booker T knows for sure, but my guess would be, “Damn, that was cool!”.

Who was the overall better wrestling Ivan? Ivan putski or Ivan Koloff? I say Koloff.

Is this even a real question? Putski had his moments and had a great career, but he can’t compare to the legendary Russian Bear, Ivan Koloff. But then again, few people can. Ivan was an icon, a legend, and is truly one of the all-time greats by anyone’s standards.

Do you think that there will be a point where wrestling will be exclusively shown on streaming services instead of TV?

As more and more people turn away from conventional television, the days of different genres switching to streaming only seem closer and closer. And if pro wrestling goes that route, I wouldn’t be surprised.

Who do you think is the most psychotic person in AEW?

Let’s go with Moxley for this one. I was going to say Tony Khan because that boy ain’t right, but I don’t think he’s psychotic. He’s got issues for sure, but I’m sure a good therapist and staying out of the snow would fix most of those. But Moxley and that obsession with blood, that just isn’t normal at all.

What do you think is the biggest problem in wrestling today?

Far too many people in the business that shouldn’t be anywhere near a wrestling ring or in front of a crowd. Wrestling is a form of art and magic and the psychology of telling a story, entertaining a crowd, and employing physical actions and moves to take the audience on a roller coaster ride, it’s a very special gift and talent. And too many people involved in the business don’t care about any of that. They just want to do choreographed spots with their friends, believe their hype, and don’t care about the little things that allow people to suspend their beliefs. To put it bluntly, too many marks that belong in the audience are in the dressing rooms and ring instead. And it shows. It does.

Do you think Eddie Kingston challenges Claudio for the ROH title at All In and if so, does he finally get the big win? I’d personally love to see it, plus it would be a great stage to wrap that storyline up.

It’s a match that makes sense given their past and history. I’m not a big Kingston fan, but Claudio isn’t doing anything with that ROH title right now and as you said, it’d be a great way to wrap up their storyline. Hopefully, Tony Khan is listening and feels the same way.

If you were trapped in a submarine, what wrestling faction would you want to be trapped with?

Who would I want to be in a submerged vessel with while we’re thousands of feet underwater and probably going to die? Probably The Original Four Horsemen. No real reason why except that diamonds are forever and so are The Horsemen.

Thoughts on Skinner.

Steve Keirn, the man who portrayed the swamp rat known as Skinner, was a wrestler I mainly knew from the Apter Mags. Primarily, a tag team wrestler who teamed with Mike Graham in Florida, and then later with Stan Lane in Memphis to make up the team of the Fabulous Ones. A good wrestler, solid in the ring, and has a decent promo, but I just didn’t see him as a big star based on my limited exposure. And then WWF calls him up and he’s transformed into whatever Skinner was supposed to be. I didn’t much care for the character then and thinking back on it now, my opinion hasn’t changed. Keirn could have had a good run as a top tag team guy in the WWF, but this was the land of make-believe and cartoon characters then and he was given the full Red Rooster treatment by Vince McMahon. A shame because he deserved better and could have been used much better.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects, especially if Don Callis is at ringside or you’re fighting MJF. I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
