Happy Birthday to The Fallen Artist, Derk Douglas. Now, let’s talk wrestling. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

What, if anything, do you think could be done to elevate Austin Theory? He hasn’t been on tv in a couple of weeks and MITB will be another PLE without a title defense. How can they fix this?

To get Theory back in the mix, I’d say either have him come out on Smackdown before MITB and issue a challenge for the PLE event, and then have a great match. Or the following RAW, just have him pop up, be angry about the disrespect, and lay someone out. And suddenly, he’s back in the mix of things.

Assuming Bryan Danielson is healed before Wembley, who would you rather see him face? Pac, Zabre, or Ospreay?

If Danielson can wrestle at Wembley, of the three choices given, I’d say most likely Ospreay.

If they had the option would AEW/NJPW run the next Forbidden Door at Madison Square Garden?

If Madison Square Garden was available and AEW had the option to show Forbidden Door, or any event, at that venue, I suspect they would immediately snap it up, as they should.

What are your thoughts on the possibility of Orange Cassidy vs Will Osprey for the Intercontinental Champion at Wembley?

I can’t see AEW going in that direction, but it would be a good match to see happen. By the way, in AEW, it’s the International Championship and not the Intercontinental Championship.

Will we ever have an NJPW wrestler win the AEW world championship and vice versa? If never, what are we having these matches for, as good as they are?

Will we have a foreign wrestler from another company win AEW’s championship? Well, it’s happened in the past with the CWAs Otto Wanz winning the AWA World Championship, New Japan’s Tatsumi Fujinami winning the WCW World Championship, All Japan’s Giant Baba winning the NWA Championship, and Jumbo Tsuruta winning the AWA Championship so there is a precedent. Never say never because, in professional wrestling, anything is possible.

If the WWE were ever able to lure Will Ospreay to their promotion, how long do you think he would be in NXT? 😆 Joking aside, who in the WWE would you want to see Ospreay face? For me, it would be Gunther.

The first match I’d like to see Ospreay wrestle would be Seth Rollins because you know it’d be great. Ospreay versus Finn Balor, Logan Paul, or Dom Mysterio would be fun too.

Are you surprised by just how much WWE is using Trish Stratus in this current run?

She’s certainly being used far more than I had expected, but so far, she’s doing well and holding up great. Trish hasn’t lost a step in her years away from the ring and this is a great way to elevate the Women’s Division. I approve.

I think it would be great to see CM Punk stable, if & when he turns heel: ideally Punk, FTR & another person.. perhaps Jack Perry, now he’s finally turned heel?

I like this idea, but the choice of Perry does nothing for me. I think Ricky Starks might be a good option. Or hell, in the senior member role, how about Christian?

If you’re remaking the TV show Gilligan’s Island with professional wrestlers, who would you cast in each role?

For Gilligan, let’s go with Riddle. The Skipper would be Tugboat. The Millionaire and his wife would be Ted DiBiase (of course) and Trish Stratus. The movie star would be played by Eva Marie. The Professor would be portrayed by Drew Gulak, while Mary Ann would be Asuka.

If you were running Impact, from the current roster, who would your top 5 stars be? Tag teams count as one!

My top five would be Angels, Heath & Rhyno, Dirty Dango, Nick Aldis, and Mickie James.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
