Once upon a time, there was a man named Casper who lived on Twitter and asked lots of great questions. He asked and I would answer, thus Questions By Casper was born. But then one day, he vanished and I had to find another source for my Q&As. Well, Twitter stepped up and now provides me with lots of random questions. It’s not Casper anymore, but it’s still lots of great fun. Now it’s Questions (Not) By Casper. And it all starts right now. Let’s go.
What’s a book you read in school that made a mark on you?
Hard to say because I was a big reader then, even as I am now, and I read many books that made their mark on me, but I can’t think of anything specific. Let’s say Hamilton Mythology. I loved reading about the heroes and gods of ancient Greece.
Do you think sleeping aides are good or bad for you?
It depends on what kind of aides you use. Pills or booze, are probably not so good. A fan or a cat is much better.
Can you name something more annoying than a mosquito?
A crackhead or homeless person in the parking lot of a convenience store. I don’t have any damn change to give you. Go the hell away!
Do you think the news media creates stories to cover the crimes of corporations and our political elite? Ya know to distract the masses? Is that what this submarine story is?
What? Does the media cover up bad news and scandals and create fake stories to protect the powers that be in Government? Damn straight they do.
Who is the greatest fictional politician of all time?
I used to be a big fan of the show, The West Wing, and although some of their antics were kind of suspect, I enjoyed the show and the entire Bartlett Administration.
Burgers or spaghetti and meatballs?
Spaghetti is too messy. Give me a burger anytime.
Would you rather be lost in a bad part of town or in a forest?
I’ll stick with the forest and the trees. I like dealing with nature and animals far more than dealing with people, especially ones that may be hostile or mean to me.
What’s the best food to eat on a first date?
Going to a Chinese buffet is always a good option for any date, be it the first, second, or fifty-nine thousandth…
What are you completely over and done with?
The hypocrisy and manipulation that is the QT+ community. A bunch of self-proclaimed queers who are nothing more than brain-damaged, delusional straight people who are desperate for some kind of imagined identity and importance. They’ve set back every positive in the lives of gays & lesbians that has been gained over the past twenty-plus years, and have made being gay a huge scarlet letter to bear once more. They’ve hijacked our world and are systematically pushing everyone back into the closet in order to avoid losing all due to their radical insanity. They’re just idiots!
What is your favorite color rose?
I’ve always been partial to the yellow ones.
Would you rather be inside a portable toilet when it’s pushed over or die three weeks earlier than you normally would have?
I’ll die earlier. I don’t know when it’s coming so early or late, it won’t really make any difference to me. It’s just a thing.
What event has changed the course of your life the most? Was it happy or sad?
I guess I’ll go with the amputation of my right leg. It changed my entire life in almost every way possible, both physically and mentally. I’m not the same person that I was anymore. Not even close. I guess it would be termed as sad.
Pot Brownies or Gummies?
I’ve never had either, but those gummies sound intriguing.
If your 15-year-old tells you they are trans, what do YOU think is the correct response?
I’d tell him that I love him and I’m always here for him, but then ask why he thinks that way. What are his reasons? And then I’d try to explain that he’s fallen victim to the mass mentality of brainwashing that is so prevalent. I’ll always support and love him, but think about what he’s saying. Do research and talk to people. Do the homework. And once he’s legal and over 18, he can do what he wants, but slow down and move slowly. Don’t make any permanent decisions for temporary thoughts and confusion. And we can take it from there.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Be good and stay well, my friends. I’ll see you at the Sushi Bar. I’ll be the one eating cold pizza.
Ubuntu!
