Are you ready for some wrestling? It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

Superstar Billy Graham versus Magnum TA. Who wins?

It’s an interesting clash of styles, but are we getting the WWF version of Billy Graham or the Karate Fighter version? It doesn’t matter. I think Magnum TA would end up walking out with the win.

What did you think of Matt Morgan?

I liked Matt Morgan, but for some reason, he never seemed to catch on or live up to his potential. WWE saddled him with a stupid stuttering gimmick which instantly killed any credibility he had in that company and then, he went to TNA. And he had all the tools, looked great and spoke well, and got a moderate push, but it just didn’t catch fire with the fans. He’s a mystery who should have become a big star, but just never did.

What if Bray Wyatt returns to WWE and replaces Finn Balor as the leader of TheJudgement Day?

I don’t think that would go over and work very well. Bray is a great character and I would love to see him returning and leading a new version of the Wyatt Family (Wyatt 6?), but the Judgement Day have established their identity and characters and Bray Wyatt just doesn’t fit the package in my opinion. I’d love to see Bray return to WWE TV and be heavily pushed, but not as part of The Judgement Day.

Do you think Roman Reigns lost anything by being pinned in a tag team match by Jey Uso at Money In The Bank?

No, not at all. It was a tag team match against arguably one of the best tag teams in WWE history. Roman is a singles star who rarely works tag team matches, so while it gives Jey a great rub, it doesn’t hurt Roman in the slightest.

Do you agree with Kevin Nash about LA Knight being a “Rock-ripoff”?

I agree with Nash, that Knight has emulated some of the Rock’s characteristics, but so what? Dusty Rhodes heard Thunderbolt Patterson cut a promo and saw Superstar Billy Graham’s character and The American Dream was born. Ric Flair copied Buddy Rogers and became The Nature Boy. It’s professional wrestling and that’s what wrestlers do when creating a character. They look around and copy the things that work, put their spin on them, and become the biggest star that they can be. The only person I’ve heard complaining about this is Nash. No one else has said a word or cares, including The Rock. Nash is just talking to be talking, nothing more.

Do you think we’ll ever see Stephanie McMahon in a position of authority again with WWE? How about Linda McMahon?

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Stephanie return as a character at some point, maybe once her children are older, but as an actual official with the WWE, I doubt it. As for Linda, she and Vince are essentially separated in all but name, plus she’s involved in politics now as a former member of President Trump’s Cabinet, plus as part of a Trump PAC. She has moved on from wrestling and WWE and I don’t see her ever returning.

First Sgt. Slaughter complains about Lacey Evans “stealing” his gimmick and finisher, and now Dutch Mantell is complaining about Dom Mysterio being called “Dirty”. Why all of the sour grapes by the older wrestlers?

Maybe someone forgot to change their diapers at the Old Wrestler’s Home and they’re getting cranky. I think Dutch is complaining more to get hits for his podcast than anything else, while Slaughter? The fake Marine is complaining about a real Marine playing a Marine. He just needs to be quiet already.

If you could create a podcast empire with any five wrestling personalities as hosts, plus two others not in the business, for a 7-day-a-week business much like Conrad Thompson has established, who would be your podcast hosts?

Five wrestling podcasts with wrestlers that I’d love to hear doing a podcast. My picks would be Lisa Moretti, aka Ivory, Heath Miller, aka Heath Slater, Ethan Storm, aka one half of the Atlantic Coast Destruction Crew, Christian Cage, Chris Cruise, and Stevie Richards. As for my two non-wrestling podcasts, I’d go with Dwarf Comedian Brad Williams and Actor Seann William Scott, aka Stiffler from the American Pie movies.

If you could bring back any wrestler from the past for “one last run” in WWE, who would it be and why?

Just to piss off the internet, I’d go with Disco Inferno. Heads would explode if he was to show up at Wrestlemania, get into the ring, take the mic, and tell the crowd that the only reason they were there, at Wrestlemania, was to see the Disco Inferno dance. It would be awesome!

It looks as if R-Truth will be returning soon from his injuries. What should WWE do with Truth and how should they book him when he returns?

I’d love to see Truth work a few serious matches and maybe get a run with Austin Theory, chasing the U.S. title as a serious wrestler. Once that’s finished, let him move to NXT to provide veteran leadership in the NXT locker room, occasionally do his schtick on the TV, and help train and mentor the stars of tomorrow. An R-Truth podcast would be pretty cool as well, much like Corey Graves does.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. And with that, let’s wrap things up for today. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
