Once upon a time, there was a man named Casper who lived on Twitter and asked lots of great questions. He asked and I would answer, thus Questions By Casper was born. But then one day, he vanished and I had to find another source for my Q&As. Well, Twitter stepped up and now provides me with lots of random questions. It’s not Casper anymore, but it’s still lots of great fun. Now it’s Questions (Not) By Casper. And it all starts right now. Let’s go.

What’s an innocent mistake you made that had dramatic consequences?

I once, many years ago, drove a couple of my “friends” across town and dropped them off. They broke into a business and were arrested. The police, and a very corrupt asshole Detective named Paul Lemmond, tried to charge me with the B&E, along with those guys because I had driven them there. Yes, I dropped them off and went home, where I belonged. I didn’t know what they had planned and didn’t care. I was just giving my friends a ride. Nothing more. That still pisses me off and that was 35 years ago.

What’s the best James Bond theme song?

In my opinion, this song, which was written and performed by Alice Cooper. It was not selected and used in the movie, but still kicks ass anyhow.

Which ideology is evil? A: The human who claims the term “taxation” is theft? Or B: The human who claims the term “taxation” is not theft?

I’ve never really thought about it, to be honest, but I know that taxation without legitimate representation is criminal behavior and that’s what we have here in the United States today. If you’re not a special interest project that can be pandered to, our so-called Representatives don’t give a damn about us, and that’s both DemocRATS and Republicans. Income tax, sales tax, property tax, inheritance tax, and so many others. And what do we get in exchange for these taxes? Not a damn thing.

What’s a great song from a musical duo not necessarily known for recording together?

Rock legend Alice Cooper and R&B icon Betty Wright, with this song right here, No Tricks.

The Michigan House has passed a law that makes using the wrong pronouns a felony, with punishments of arrests and fines. Agree or disagree?

It’s not constitutional or enforceable. They’re trying to say that we have to be mind readers and know what delusions people are under to know what to call them. That’s impossible to determine, especially in today’s screwed-up world. The Supreme Court will strike this law down, as they should.

If you could have a chat with one of your favorite actors, who would you choose and why?

Right now, it would be actor/director Kevin Smith. All it would take is about one thirty-minute conversation and he would realize I’m his twin from another mother. He would fall in love with me and I’d be forever more a part of Team View Askew, with minor roles in his movies, collaborations on movie scripts and ideas, and a sick, demented associate to bounce ideas off of.

If you could have any wild animal that is tamed enough as a pet, what would you choose?

I’ve always wanted to have a pet skunk. Take out the scent glands and they make great pets who can be litter box trained and would just be awesome to have.

What’s a trend you wish would come back?

People being respectful and honest to each other instead of the assholes that so many people these days have become.

You can go back to 1979 for one night to see The Rolling Stones or AC/DC.. who are you seeing?

I’ve already seen AC/DC twice and their concerts don’t change much. Loud and awesome to be sure. I’ve always wanted to see The Stones and they are on my bucket list, so let’s go with Mick, Keith, and that legendary band.

Have you ever pulled a Dine & Dash?

Only one time and that was on a trip to CT many, many years ago. I was with my friends and I had no idea what they had planned, but I just followed their lead. I still feel bad about that.

How do you like your steak?

Medium-well and then covered in ketchup. Mmmm Mmmm good!

Why are some pickles sold at the grocery store in the refrigerator and others on the shelf?

Don’t ask me because I don’t know or care. I don’t do pickles. Where is Pickle Rick when you need him? He’d know.

Are you happy with your credit score?

I am. A few years ago, due to bad decisions and some hard times, my credit score was beyond terrible. Now, it’s pretty damn decent. I could get a loan for almost anything with no problem. I tightened my belt, paid my bills on time or early, and busted my ass sometimes, but it’s all paying off as I enter my golden years.

What do you think is the best action franchise of all time?

Let’s go with the movie franchise American Pie. They had action, right? I know they did. This one time, at band camp… yeah, they had action. And Stiffler rocks!

Would you rather drive or be a passenger for a longer than 2-hour drive?

I’ll be the passenger. I hate driving and most people, after riding with me for a while, hate my driving too.

Name the most beautiful land feature for a backdrop of a wedding.

I’d go with the ocean at the beach. I hate the sand, but that would make for a perfect wedding photo.
