It’s time to do that wrestling Q&A thing with the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A, where nothing is off-limits. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
Thoughts on Pretty Boy Carl Fergie?
Carl Fergie, I remember mainly for two things. When I first saw Fergie, he did a brief run for Crockett where he and Ox Baker were the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions. He was a good wrestler, but kind of blended in the mix and didn’t stand out very much from the crowd. And then later, I saw him in Memphis and I believe, Mid-South, as a referee. I remember the name and seeing him, but there are no major moments or thoughts to reflect upon.
Toni Storm is the greatest AEW Women’s World Champion of All Time. Yes or No?
Honestly, I had already forgotten that she is the current AEW Women’s Champion and I can’t even remember who the previous champions were. Britt Baker, I remember, but aside from her, I don’t even know who the other champions were. So by default, I’ll just say maybe.
Now the Dark Order is Recruiting Again it is time to finally find a new leader for the group they have Respected Brodie Lee is admirable but it is now time to move on with that chapter of the Dark Order. Who do you think the new leader should be?
The first name that comes to mind is Erik Redbeard, aka Erik Rowan, but that’s too obvious. I know he’s back in Impact Wrestling now, but maybe Eric Young?
What are your thoughts on the possibility of WWE bringing back the Hurt Business with the Street Profits replacing Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander?
It sounds good to me. The Street Profits have gotten stale and need to be freshened up and a good feud with Shelton and Cedric could do it. And The Hurt Business with Lashley and MVP as the leaders was a good faction that I’d like to see return. Hell, how about the Street Profits, Shelton, Cedric, and Lashley, all together? I like that idea even more.
Thoughts on Adorable Adrian Adonis?
I loved the tough guy character from the AWA and that teamed with Dick Murdoch. I hated the Adorable Adrian character. He was a good wrestler who moved well for a man so large and could have been so much more if not for his demons being out of control.
Thoughts and opinions on Nick Bockwinkel?
One of the smoothest and best of all time. A true legend in every sense of the word. ‘Nuff said!
The McGuire Twins (Billy & Benny McGuire) versus PG-13 (JC Ice & Wolfie D). Who wins?
Wolfie and Dundee would have to do all the work, all the moves, and create all the action and excitement, but how they could pin two men who weighed over 500lbs each, couldn’t happen. The McGuire Twins would literally squash Dundee and Wolfie.
Thoughts on Van Hammer?
He had a good look but was essentially just there in the early to mid-90s for WCW. I was never a fan and to me, when Hammer came on the TV, it was time for either a food or a bathroom break.
Allegedly, Tony Khan is considering making AEW Dynamite three hours. Thoughts?
Tony is in over his head with two hours of barely watchable television on Dynamite as it is. Three hours would be too much for anyone, even the rabie, diehard AEW fans in my opinion, and would be a ratings disaster. Don’t do it!
Do you think that AEW Dynamite, featuring the Blood & Guts Cage Match, will break a million views on TBS tonight?
This question was sent on Wednesday and I’m answering it now on Sunday, so we already know the answer. It was just over 800,000 viewers, so did the Cage Match bring in the fans and break a million views? Nope.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Don’t be wearing any championship title belts that you didn’t win and I’ll see you at the matches.
Ubuntu!
