Once upon a time, there was a man named Casper who lived on Twitter and asked lots of great questions. He asked and I would answer, thus Questions By Casper was born. But then one day, he vanished and I had to find another source for my Q&As. Well, Twitter stepped up and now provides me with lots of random questions. It’s not Casper anymore, but it’s still lots of great fun. Now it’s Questions (Not) By Casper. And it all starts right now. Let’s go.

Steak or fish?

I’ll have the lasagna.

Without googling, what is the most-watched TV show of all time?

I think it was the final episode of MASH, but I’m not sure about that. So I’ll google and find out. And I was right. MASH was the most watched, by 61.3 % of the people who had TVs at the time. After that was the final episode of Seinfeld.

In three words or less, What has a job taught you?

People are crazy!

What’s the worst book you’ve been forced to read in school?

I can’t remember any bad books, but then again, I was a big reader back then and would read pretty much any book put in front of me. I still do that sometimes.

Did anyone from your high school make it as a professional athlete?

There was a set of brothers who made it to the NFL, and I believe we had a few baseball players who went pro as well. And of course, pro wrestlers. I think we could rival West Texas State with the number of pro wrestlers who walked through the halls of Scotland High School at some point in their lives.

Should misgendering someone be a criminal offense?

What is misgendering? They’re either a man or a woman, period, so there is always a 50% chance of being right and if I am wrong, it’s not a criminal offense. It’s because they’re delusional and don’t want to accept the truth.

What is a food that you flat-out refuse to eat?

I won’t eat sushi or squid. That stuff is just disgusting.

What is a food or drink that is not sold today that you wish they’d bring back?

Matilda Bay. A malt beverage, like Zima before there was Zima, that came in a box w/a tap. It was a great side drink to my beer back in my younger days. I’d always have a case of Bud Light in one hand (this was 1988-93 so don’t judge) & a box of Matilda Bay in the other. Good times.

How many times have you seen Jason Aldean in concert?

I’ve never seen him in concert. Except for the Dirt Road Anthem song, I’ve never really been a big fan of his. I appreciate his talent, but his trying to be an “outlaw” in his early days just didn’t sit right with me (or Shooter Jennings). I do kind of like the new song that’s pissing off the libs though. It’s pretty decent.

Do you trust others?

My levels of trust vary with each person. I trust some folks a great deal and others, not in the slightest, and most people fall somewhere in between. Trust is earned and if it’s broken it will never be the same again.

In three words or less, What have your mistakes taught you?

Actions have consequences.

Who’s more likely to be ok with dating across party lines? Dem, GOP, other?

The GOP is more likely because for the most part, their entire life isn’t politics and they’re adult enough to disagree with people, but still like or respect them. The Dems aren’t capable of that and if you don’t agree with them 100% on everything, you’re the enemy. Sad, but true!

What was that “Holy Shit I’m an adult now” moment for you?

Having to take charge and handle everything when my oldest brother passed away. And then again when my sister passed away. And now, having to look after my Mom. Those are three times right there that I’ve been forced to put others first and be an adult, be responsible, etc. It’s not the slightest bit fun, but it’s necessary. Being the responsible one sucks!

Pineapple Pepsi. Yes or No?

I want to say no, but I’m intrigued. I’d probably give it a try.

In three words or less, What did you learn from college?

Drinking games & sex.

And there you go. Thank you for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Also be sure to like, share, and subscribe. Thank you. And with that, let’s wrap things up. It’s nearly time for the sun to be rising and I need to get a little sleep before work this afternoon. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the liquor store.

Ubuntu!
