It’s amazing what you can accomplish while waiting on a text message. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

Do you think that Adam Cole & MJF will end up wearing AEW Tag Team gold?

It’s always a possibility, but I hope not. While the team of MJF and Adam Cole has been really fun and intriguing, we all know that Cole and MJF will be splitting up sooner rather than later because MJF is the World Champion, and Cole wants that title, as he should. But taking the tag titles off of FTR just seems unnecessary to me. They shouldn’t be forced to lose the titles to further the MJF/Cole storyline, especially after the incredible matches they recently had with Jay White and Juice Robinson. Let the betrayal of Cole by NJF, or vice versa, happen during the tag team title match so that FTR can keep their belts while Cole & MJF move on to fight for the World Title. It just makes more sense to me.

Thoughts on Billy Jack Haynes? Not the crazy man that he’s become, but his wrestling and promos during his prime.

It’s hard for me to separate the two because while I’ve only seen a few of Billy Jack’s matches, I saw quite a bit of the crazy ranting and deranged claims that he has made in various shoot interviews and on social media. As a wrestler, he was solid in the ring with a power-based style, but that was about it. He wasn’t bad by any means, but I didn’t see much there except for a great physique. And then he became the looney whacked-out crazy guy. It’s sad to see anyone fall that far.

Greg Valentine, Masked Superstar, and Jake Roberts versus Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley). Who wins?

As much as I love my old guys and legends, this one would go to The Shield. It’d be one hell of a match, but the outcome isn’t in very much doubt.

Shawn Michaels versus Seth Rollins. Who wins?

HBK in his prime versus Seth would be amazing to see. Forget the rivalry with HBK and Bret Hart. This match with HBK and Seth would blow that out of the water, plus any other match that happens to come along. These guys are very similar in size and build, it would be a toss-up that could easily go either way. And I think HBK would win, but just barely.

How should AEW use Danhausen?

If they’re going to keep him around, since he’s not wrestling, use him in an interview segment, much like WWE does with Miz and Miz TV or did with Paul Bearer and the Funeral Parlor. He’s there and getting paid so put that presence and uniqueness to work as he can interview wrestlers and give poor Tony Schiavone a break.

Would you like to see Chris Van Vliet go to work for either AEW or WWE as an interviewer?

In a full-time position, no, because it would ruin his great interviews and reputation as an unbiased and fair interviewer on his own site. But if he was offered a chance to do some of the PPV pre-game shows, as part of the panel, I think that would be great and he’d be excellent at it. The man is a great interviewer with a great presence and insight with his questions that I’d hate to see that ruined or distorted in any manner, but if he had the opportunity to expand his audience and make some AEW or WWE money on the side, that would be great.

Cody Rhodes recently said in an interview that he’d love to have Arn Anderson back by his side in WWE. Would you like to see Arn as part of WWE again and if so, in what role?

Arn got a raw deal when he was fired from WWE and it’s hard to imagine seeing him go back to that company, especially on a full-time basis. But that being said, if Arn was there Cody’s coach at the big events, and maybe to help get his son, Brock, into the door, I could see that happening. And yes, I would love to see it.

You’re getting a dream opportunity to perform at WrestleMania… what would you choose for your theme song?

A classic from a man who was part of Wrestlemania III, Alice Cooper. I’d go with this song, “Hello, Hooray!”.

Jon Moxley or Dean Ambrose?

Ambrose, as part of the WWE and the Sheild, was tolerable and even entertaining at times. Under the name of Jon Moxley, the same can’t be said. The matches are sloppy, the promos are rambling and incoherent, and the blood. Damn, there’s so much blood. Moxley needs someone to reign him in and say no sometimes. The Ambrose character is easily the better and most watchable of the two.

Buff Bagwell is in trouble again with another DWI. Thoughts?

It’s sad to see that Buff had a relapse and I hope he can get things worked out and find his way back on the right path again. He still has so much to offer the world of pro wrestling. Best wishes to the guy to do well and fly right.

Who’s more relevant in pro wrestling in 2023? Jim Cornette or The Young Bucks?

The Young Bucks are active wrestlers and EVPs of the second-largest wrestling company in the United States so they have that going for them. Cornette is retired from active wrestling competition, both as a performer and as management, but does two podcasts a week that far exceed in total numbers of listeners anything that AEW and the Bucks put out. Who is more relevant depends on what criteria you choose to use, but in my opinion, who is regularly exposed to more fans and the audience that supports pro wrestling? The numbers speak for themselves. Jim Cornette.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Also be sure to like, share, and subscribe. Thank you. And with that, let’s wrap it up for the night. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
