It’s not just any wrestling Q&A, but instead, it’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

Conrad Thompson was elected to The George Trago/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame. Why?

It was the Gordon Solie Award and from what I understand, it’s for media personalities that have helped promote professional wrestling and enhance its popularity and the fan’s knowledge of the business. If that’s the case, Conrad and his three hundred podcasts make sense. Either that, or he paid someone off, but Conrad is a good dude so we’ll go with the first one.

Bret Hart offered to work at AEW as an agent and they turned him down. Thoughts?

It seems that AEW wanted Bret to be a manager, much like they use Arn, Tully, Jake Roberts, Billy Gunn, etc., and not an agent/coach. That’s like having Michael Jordon offering to coach your pee-wee game of H-O-R-S-E and saying no. It doesn’t make sense.

Orange Cassidy has been named as an agent for AEW. Thoughts?

Cassidy is a veteran of nearly twenty years and has been with AEW since Day 1 so it can’t hurt to give him a chance His gimmick isn’t to my liking, but he’s over with the fans and can wrestle fairly well when he wants to so he’s better than some of the others options/executives in that company. Let’s just see how it goes.

Do you think Bray Wyatt should target Cody Rhodes or Roman Reigns?

If Bray has to go after one when he returns, I’d throw him with Roman. Let’s see how the Tribal Chief handles two threats at once from both his rebellious family and the craziness that is Bray Wyatt. It would make for some interesting and eventful television.

John Cena only gets one more match in his career. Who is the opponent?

This is a tough one, but I think I’d go with Matt Cardona, to make up for that aborted storyline back in the day when Cena stole the then-Zack Ryder’s love interest, Eve Torres. Cardona never had the chance to get any kind of revenge so bring it around full circle and let Cena put over The Indy King in his last match. Works for me. Woo woo woo – you know it.

Shawn Michaels is not available. Who is the greatest rival to Bret “The Hitman” Hart?

If you take HBK out of the picture, I think I’d have to go with the Nature Boy, Ric Flair. I always loved their matches and chemistry.

War Games Match: Family Guy versus The Simpsons. Who wins?

So it’s Peter, Lois, Chris, Meg, and Stewie, with Brian on the outside versus Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. It would be animated mayhem at its very best. And the Griffin family would win the fight when Glen Quagmire interferes and slips Marge some giggity. All right!

Jeff Hardy hopes for another solo World title reign in AEW and plans to wrestle until his 50. How do y’all feel about this?

Jeff is only 45 years old, but I honestly thought he was older than that. He looks like hell and life, both in and out of the ring, have taken their toll. I can’t see him lasting five more years at this rate, nor do I see him ever becoming the AEW World Champion unless it’s as a transitional champion where he wins it on Saturday and loses it the following Wednesday. It’s good to have dreams and goals, but I just can’t see for myself how Jeff’s would be obtainable at this rate.

Lex Luger isn’t available. Who has the greatest Submission finisher of all time?

I would not call Luger’s “Torture Rack” the greatest submission of all time. It’s not even close in my opinion and I’m sure that Ric Flair and the Figure Four Leglock, Paul Jones and the Indian Deathlock, the Von Erichs and their claws, Bret Hart and his Sharpshooter, or Brock and his Kimura would agree either. And my favorite? The Masked Superstar and his, not Sgt. Slaughters, Cobra Clutch.

According to sources, a deal is in place for Brian Pillman Jr to sign for WWE, or is in the process of being finalized. Thoughts?

This is excellent news because, with WWE, Pillman can actually learn, get better, and grow as a performer and have an opportunity to become a true wrestling superstar, not to mention grow and enhance his family’s wrestling legacy.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s call it a night. Be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
