It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

What’s your honest opinion on Kurt Angle?

While Kurt’s character was a bit too goofy for my tastes more often than not, he was a great character and totally legit and credible in the ring. Think about it. This man won a gold medal with a broken freakin’ neck. He’s the real deal in every way that matters.

Mike the Miz isn’t available, who is the greatest WWE superstar to come out of Tough Enough?

Tough Enough had some good talent come through like Ryback, Daniel Puder, Chris Nowinski, Linda Miles, Maven, The Boogeyman, and so many others. The best though, besides The Miz? How about Nidia?

Hulk Hogan is not available. Who was Rowdy Roddy Pipers greatest rival?

It could be Wahoo McDaniel. It could be Playboy Buddy Rose in the Seattle territory. It could easily be Ric Flair. But based on that dog-collar match at Starcade 83, I’ll go with Greg “The Hammer” Valentine.

Who are you buying a ticket to go watch wrestling? Current wrestlers only.

I would go out of my way to see Matt Cardona wrestle. Also Brock Lesnar or Hornswoggle. Book them, Chee, and I’ll be there.

Describe Gunther in one word.

Impressive!

Athena has been making noise about an all women’s PPV for AEW. Do you think it will ever happen?

AEW might be wanting to do an All Women’s PPV, but the women available in AEW and ROH are not that good and not capable of pulling something that large off. The majority of the AEW Women’s Division are not good wrestlers and do not belong on that big a stage. They could bring in some of the Japanese women from New Japan and Stardom, but no one knows who they are except for Meltzer and a few hardcore fans. It won’t ever happen at AEW unless the Women’s Division gets a complete and total overhaul and a lot of better, more experienced, and talented women are brought in first.

Matt Riddle or Ken Shamrock?

For a shoot fight, I’d go with Shamrock. Riddle is actually quite a proficient UFC fighter and it’d be a damn good fight with Shamrock in his prime taking on the Original Bro. In a worked wrestling match, I’d still go with Shamrock. The intensity that he showed in his matches would be hard for anyone to beat. It’d be a damn good match and possibly steal the show at any event, but the outcome is obvious. Shamrock should win.

Torrie Wilson versus Francine. Who wins?

Torrie was okay in many ways, but Francine was the Queen of Extreme and she earned that title. Francine wins.

What is your Mt. Rushmore of wrestling tag teams?

Right off the top of my head, I’d say The Anderson Brothers, The Midnight Express, Arn & Tully, and The Usos.

Hulk Hogan recently claimed that he was the man responsible for the six-sided ring in TNA. Thoughts?

TNA/Impact Wrestling started using the six-sided ring in 2004. Hogan joined the TNA/Impact roster in 2010. So take Hogan’s alleged claims for what you will.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, subscribe, and share. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
