It’s time to play catch-up and talk about wrestling. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

Forget WWE. Who would you put on your personal WCW Mount Rushmore?

WCW would be Vader, Ric Flair, Sting, and Lex Luger.

So it looks like Kairi Sane and Nia Jax are returning to WWE. Who else should they bring back?

I’m still hoping that Matt Cardona is able to come back at some point and get a major push as himself. I’d also like to see Chris Masters return for a final run as well.

Ken Shamrock or Dan Severn?

It’s a tough call, but I have to go with “The Beast” Dan Severn.

F-5 is on the list of banned moves. What is Brock Lesnar’s new signature move?

The multiple trips to Suplex City would work to win most matches, but there needs to be an exclamation point and finisher. How about a good old shades-of-Arn-Anderson spinebuster?

If you were in charge of WCW in the summer of 1991 and your World Champion Ric Flair quit the company, how would you handle the now vacant World Heavyweight Championship going into the Great American Bash? Would you keep it at Lex Luger versus Barry Windham or hold a mini-one-night tournament? And this answer you give does not involve Ric Flair at all so take him out of the equation.

So Flair is gone and we need a new WCW Champion. I’d go for the one-night tournament with the 8 top guys in WCW, leading to the finals of Luger and Barry. Then proceed with the finish as it happened.

Sonya Deville has a torn ACL, so obviously she and Chelsea Green will have to give up the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Are the tag team titles cursed? How should WWE handle this situation?

If I was WWE, I’d allow Green to “choose” a partner to replace Deville and defend the titles until Kairi Sane makes her return, and then Deville & her partner can drop the titles to the Kabuki Warriors or at least have a good feud. I’d keep the belts with Green and whoever her partner may be for as long as I can. And are the belts cursed? It sure seems that way.

Thoughts on the handshake between Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes?

You could see Brock, as the match went on, acting amazed as Cody kept fighting and wouldn’t give up. The handshake was Brock acknowledging Cody, showing his respect, and passing the torch in a way, giving Cody his seal of approval. They’re not friends, but now it’s part of the record that Brock respects Cody and can be used later on to act as an ally for Cody if needed.

Admit it. The Ronda Rousey versus Shayna Baszler match sucked. What could WWE have done to make it better? How would you have booked it?

Yes, it did suck. WWE seemed to forget that most WWE fans are not MMA fans vice-versa. To make it better, I think a “Fight Pit” match would have been much better. I can still remember Timothy Thatcher and Matt Riddle competing in one in NXT that was easily one of the best matches from NXT up to that point. Ronda and Shayna could have easily pulled that off and had a great match, but they wanted to do MMA Rules and unfortunately, Triple H went along with their wishes. Too bad!

Thoughts on The Purple Haze, Mark Lewin.

I know the name, mainly because of the Apter Mags and Lewin’s work with Kevin Sullivan in Florida, but I did see him appear on Crockett TV for a couple of appearances after Sullivan moved from Florida to Crocket. I can’t even remember what the story was, but it was only for a couple of appearances before vanishing. He was a good wrestler in the Portland territory, if I recall correctly, and then worked Georgia and Florida, usually alligned with Sullivan in some way. I wish I had more on him, but the few times I saw him or heard of him, he was a talented dude.

It seems that Kairi Sane may be returning to the WWE soon. Thoughts?

It’ll be good to see her back, either as a singles wrestler or possibly reforming the Kabuki Warriors team with Asuka, a role that be used to help save the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Sane is a good wrestler and had a good, interesting character. It’ll be good to see her back.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.
