Once upon a time, there was a man named Casper who lived on Twitter and asked lots of great questions. He asked and I would answer, thus Questions By Casper was born. But then one day, he vanished and I had to find another source for my Q&As. Well, Twitter stepped up and now provides me with lots of random questions. It’s not Casper anymore, but it’s still lots of great fun. Now it’s Questions (Not) By Casper. And it all starts right now. Let’s go.

Would you go to a nice/fancy restaurant and dine alone?

Probably not. I don’t much worry about “fancy” and prefer practical and convenient instead. And if I’m doing the fancy place deal, I’m most likely doing it for the benefit of someone else, so we can do lunch and talk. For myself only, it’s not worth the extra effort.

Finish this sentence: Why Is it that girls always want you to go ___?

I can’t think of an answer. Girls never ask me to do anything out of the ordinary. Must be a straight person thing lol.

Name one thing more important than money.

Respect and trust. Okay, that’s two, but they go together.

Do you remember your 3rd-grade teacher’s name?

It was at Brentwood Elementary School in Raleigh, NC and it was Mrs. Lamb for the first part of the year, but then she left and it was Mrs. Wright to finish out the rest of the year.

Are you a free thinker who does research or do you let someone make your decisions for you?

It depends on the situation and decision, but 99.995% of the time, I’ll make my own decisions, even if that decision is to just go along with the flow and defer to someone else.

What is the most important trait a person can have?

Be honest and trustworthy.

Letters or emails?

I actually love and prefer letters, but that seems to be a lost art these days. I miss them.

What are the greatest chips of all time?

Regular, plain Ruffles. As for why, it’s because Ruffles have ridges, and ridges have flavor.

First Film do you think of when you see New York City?

The old Kurt Russell classic, Escape From New York. And also the musical, RENT!

French Fries or Onion Rings?

Have you been reading my Facebook page lately? Onion Rings.

Can you trust the meat bought at your local grocery store to be natural instead of lab-created?

So long as it’s reasonably priced and tastes good, I don’t care where it comes from. Just fry that meat up and let’s roll.

Who is the greatest American President of all time?

Abraham Lincoln. And if you’re talking about modern times, let’s go with Ronald Reagan.

Before cell phones, what did people bring to the toilet?

I always kept a book in there, or else brought a magazine or newspaper with me if I thought I was going to be there for any significant length of time.

How comfortable would a $70,000 per year salary be in your area?

I live in a semi-rural area of North Carolina. Making 70 grand a year, especially since I know how to manage money, would be very comfortable and living well.

If you had to move from the state you live in, which state would you move to?

I like it here in North Carolina, but if I had to move and had no choice, I’d go to either Ohio, where I have family, or South Carolina, which is only 8 miles down the road so I wouldn’t have to change anything at all in my life except for my mailing address.

Do you know what a “McGangBang” is?

It’s the reason that the Drive-Thru at McDonald’s is so damn slow and messes up every order they get. Those employees are too busy with each other to do their damn jobs, those nasty fucks! Actually, it’s a McChicken patty inserted into a Double Cheeseburger. That doesn’t sound too bad, but here at our local Mcdonald’s, I think my first definition is more accurate.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the Corn Hole Tournament.

Ubuntu!
