I’m your host with the most, Doug, and the day of playing catch-up for the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A continues. You have the questions and I have the answers. I’ve just been slow about getting to them, but I’m working on that. So here you go. Let’s do this.
It’s best friends Adam Cole & MJF at Wembley Stadium for the AEW Championship. Cole signed the contract but didn’t read it first. What stipulations do you think MJF secretly inserted into the contract?
How about that if Adam Cole doesn’t win at Wembley, he never gets another title shot so long as MJF is the champion? That sounds like a proper, heelish stipulation that MJF could add. Or maybe the loser has to do a song and dance with Jericho? That would be pretty awful as well.
Becky Lynch vs. Trish Status Match Pulled From WWE SummerSlam Because There Wasn’t Enough Time. Thoughts?
SummerSlam ran for nearly five hours with eight matches. That was a long show, so I can believe that several matches were cut for time. Or maybe HHH is lying? I’m inclined to believe him though.
Who would be your best friend if you were a wrestler?
My best friend, the Infamous One. That wouldn’t change because he’s awesome and I love the dude. But that being said, my traveling, wrestling buddy, if I had a choice, would be Heath Miller. He just seems like a genuinely nice and cool dude.
Rhea Ripley versus Awesome Kong. Who wins?
This would be an excellent match to see and it would kick ass. I love me some Mami, but I think when the smoke cleared, Kong would walk out the winner.
The Rabid Wolverine isn’t available. Who is Kurt Angle’s greatest rival?
A receding hairline. Okay, I’m joking. Not really, but Kurt won that one by shaving his head. I’d say, Brock Lesnar.
Mike the Miz isn’t available. Who is the greatest WWE superstar to come out of Tough Enough?
I’ve answered this one before, but I can’t remember what my answer was. As a personal favorite, I’ll go with Jamie Noble’s lady friend, Nidia.
ROH or TNA Impact Wrestling?
I have to go with Impact Wrestling for this one. They have stories and television. ROH has some great talent on their roster, but as of right now, they’re just the B-level of AEW and nothing more. Sad, but true.
The Windham Family (Blackjack Mulligan, Barry Windham, Kendall Windham, Mike Rotundo, Bo Dallas & Bray Wyatt) versus The Anaoi Family (Roman Reigns, Rikishi, Umaga, Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) in a War Games Match. Who wins?
This would be a wild and crazy ass match, and the blood would be flowing. The Samoan Dynasty would walk away with the win on this one.
Tony Khan recently said that he’d love to have AEW and the past episodes of Dark, Dark Evolution, Rampage, Dynamite, Collision, as well as PPVs all streaming on Max, formerly known as HBO Max. Thoughts?
I can’t fault him for that. It would be great exposure for AEW and bring in a ton of money for his company, much as the WWE Network being on Peacock does for WWE. It would be a great business move.
Should the Brooklyn Brawler be in the WWE Hall Of Fame?
Why is this even a question? Yes, yes, a thousand times yes.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. My thanks for that. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Be well, my friends. Watch out for traitorous twins. I’ll see you at the matches.
