It’s time to talk pro wrestling. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

The Rock & Roll Express versus The Steiner Brothers. Who wins?

While the Rock & Roll Express is truly one of the best tag teams in the history of pro wrestling, this one has to go to Rick and Scott Steiner. They had the size, and the strength, and were legit bad-ass dudes. The Steiners would win.

Thoughts on CM Punk and Jack Perry at Wembley?

CM Punk is right in that he works with children. Punk told Perry, at the request of several AEW officials, several weeks ago that using real glass in a spot was not a good idea. Several weeks later, at the biggest show in AEW history, Perry shoots on Punk during his match against Hook, telling Punk, “Real glass! Cry me a river!”, and then allegedly gets in Punk’s face backstage immediately after the match, and before Punk’s match. Words are exchanged and again, allegedly, Punk caught Perry in a choke before it was broken up. My own personal opinion is that Perry should be suspended. He put the opening match of AEW’s biggest event ever in jeopardy by being a spiteful baby. Punk shouldn’t have taken the bait, but when does it end? Tony Khan needs to take charge and deal with all of this garbage. Vince McMahon would have nipped it all in the bud on Day 1. So would Triple H. Hell, anyone who knows how to run a business and be a boss would have stopped the craziness before it got out of control. And now, it’s gone too far. If Punk were to quit tomorrow and file a lawsuit against Tony and AEW for an unsafe working environment, I wouldn’t blame him a bit. It’s gone that far and Tony Khan has only himself to blame.

It’s been announced that Bianca Belair is expected to be “out of action due to injury” for three months. Thoughts?

She’s been pushed hard for a while and needs a break so she can refresh her character. She’s gotten way too predictable and stale and some time off TV is probably a good thing. I hope she enjoys the time off.

Tyrus has now retired from pro wrestling. Thoughts?

Is there really any true retirement for a professional wrestler? Between Fox News, writing books, and his family, I’m sure Tyrus will appreciate a break and time away from the ring, but is he truly retired for good? I doubt it.

WWE may be bringing back the Authors of Pain and Paul Ellering. Thoughts?

But what about Drake Maverick? Will he be part of the picture? In all seriousness though, I’m glad to see this and hope it’s true. AOP was a good, solid tag team and while they did well under Triple H in NXT, they got a raw deal on the main roster under the auspices of Vince McMahon. It’ll be good to see them back.

John Cena is coming back and will be appearing on seven straight episodes of WWE Smackdown. Thoughts?

Cena has to do something while Hollywood is on strike and why not use this time to reignite his fan base and hopefully spike the ratings while giving a rub to an up-and-coming talent at the same time? It’ll be good to see Cena back.

CAN AEW SURVIVE WITHOUT C.M.PUNK? WHO WILL BE THE NEXT STAR TONY KHAN WILL PUSH TO FILL THE VOID?

Sorry for the All Caps, but that’s how the question was written and I don’t feel like changing it. As for the question, can AEW survive without AEW? So long as Tony Khan’s father keeps writing the checks, yes. And who can Tony push to fill the void? I’d suggest Ricky Starks.

AEW just needs to have its own version of the Brawl for All and squash all the issues while making money. Thoughts?

Sounds like a plan to me. CM Punk might not have won his UFC matches, but he’s trained in MMA and would easily be able to take out the gymnasts and spoiled Hollywood brats. I wouldn’t mind seeing that.

Adrian Street, Abe Jacobs, and Terry Funk versus Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Jay Briscoe. Who wins?

What a fight and brawl this would be. Six of the best, all of whom passed away recently and were among the best of their eras. Bray, Harper, and Briscoe would win.

Cat Fight: Missy Hyatt versus Lana. Who wins?

The fans. Just imagine all of those puppies flying around. Did I say puppies? More like Great Danes. Those two ladies better hope that they never get chest colds. That could be fatal. Put Joey Styles and Jerry Lawler at ringside to call the action, with Styles yelling, “Catfight! Oh my God!”, while Lawler is screeching, “Puppies!”. It would be awesome. And my money would be on Missy to win.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Also, be sure to subscribe, share, and like. And with that, be good and I’ll see you at the matches. Take care.
