And here we go with another edition of the only wrestling Q&A that really matters, the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m your host with the most, Doug. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Are Ricky Starks & Big Bill the modern-day version of HBK & Diesel?

That’s a pretty good comparison and analogy and I can see the comparison. If Starks and Bill can get over as HBK and Diesel did, that’s the big question. But it’s a good comparison.

Pick One Wrestler from today’s WWE to face Bret Hart at WrestleMania.

Bret Hart versus Seth Rollins would be an excellent match.

When Thunder Rosa’s AEW Contract expires, should Triple H & WWE sign her up?

I think there should be a conversation between Rosa and WWE to see if they’re on the same page and can come to a mutually beneficial agreement. It could be a good thing that could work for the benefit of both parties.

WWE allegedly declined Edge’s contract requests and instead, is letting his contract expire. So Edge to AEW? Thoughts?

Wade Keller reported this and it was quickly shot down by none other than Edge himself. Edge stated that he has a contract extension waiting in his inbox and he just hasn’t made a decision yet. So this is fake news and Edge, in my opinion, isn’t going anywhere. He’s WWE for life.

Is Xavier Woods a future WWE Champion?

I think so and would love to see it happen.

It looks as if Becky Lynch may be headed to NXT to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the NXT Women’s Championship. Thoughts?

I think this would be a good move that would accomplish two things. It would give Becky a break from the main roster, allowing her to refresh her character and make a few necessary tweaks, while at the same time, giving NXT a boost in ratings and adding eyes to that show.

Should Bray Wyatt be inducted into the Hall of Fame next year?

I have no objections and Bray is deserving to be sure. I’d like to see it. Brodie Lee should be inducted as well.

Brock Anderson’s contract with AEW expires in August. Do you think he’s going to the WWE?

I think Brock has a lot of potential and it would be a great move to become part of the WWE system. His former partner, Brian Pillman Jr., also just joined the NXT, so there are some familiar faces that he could work with. He hasn’t had much chance to grow or develop in AEW for the past three years and a move such as this would help his career so much. It would definitely be a step up for young Brock.

Rich Landrum. Thoughts.

Rich Landrum was the announcer for the show World Wide Wrestling, back in the Jim Crockett days, along with Johnny Weaver as his co-host. And Landrum, who passed away last week, was damn good at his job. He called the action with a good, serious nature, and was arguably, in my opinion, the best announcer Crockett had for that era. Landrum was so good at his job and if he had stayed in the business, instead of leaving after Crockett brought in Tony Schiavone & Jim Ross, he would have been listed among the very best, along with others like Solie, Ross, etc. A great announcer who played a strong role in the history of Crockett Promotions.

Abe Jacobs. Thoughts.

Abe Jacobs was older and a veteran when I saw him wrestle for Crockett, but he was in the prime of his career and worked mainly as an enhancement talent. He would have great matches, taking the big stars to the limits, and then respectfully do the job to get the guy over. I wish I could have seen him wrestle in the late ’60s, and early ’70s, in his prime. He was so damn good and that Kiwi Roll that he used as a finisher, was amazing. A true legend that most fans today don’t know, but fortunately for me, I did. RIP, good sir.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
