It’s a little bit country. It’s a little bit rock & roll. And yeah, I’m dating myself with that intro. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug and I’m ready to style and profile. Let’s do this.

Three Count or 3MB. Who you got?

The greatest boy band in WCW history versus whatever 3MB was supposed to be. I’m a fan of both factions, but if this match was to happen, I’d have to go for the group that has two World Champions as part of the unit. 3MB wins.

Allegedly, there was a meeting set up last week between Tony Khan, The Elite, and CM Punk to bury the hatchet, but The Elite canceled at the last minute. Thoughts?

It was the children being children and showing, once again, why they should be fired from any kind of EVP role. The Elite, by refusing to be adults and even attempting to make peace with Punk, is a great example of how they’re hurting AEW and screwing AEW out of a lot of money. It’s just sad and annoying.

What if WWE and/or CM Punk are not interested in working together? What does Punk do next? Would Anthem/Impact want to spend a lot of money on him? Does Punk try something else?

I can’t see Impact Wrestling being willing to pay the kind of money that Punk would demand, but as I explained in my last edition of the Q&A, Punk has a ton of options available to him. He will not be lacking things to do to keep busy.

Who do you want to see Seth Rollins wrestle next for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship?

Once he finishes the feud with Shinsuke, we’ve always got Senor Money In The Bank, Damian Priest, lurking around. But I’d like to see Seth work on a program with Sami Zayn. That would be fun to see.

Thoughts on WWE Payback?

It was a good show. Miz versus LA Knight went a bit too long in my opinion, but I went into this show not expecting much and it over-delivered big time. Becky and Trish was far better than I was expecting it to be and the tag team match with Judgement Day and KO/Sami was a happy mess to be sure. The show was solid from start to finish and WWE’s streak of strong PLEs continues.

Solo Sikoa arrived on the main roster one year ago today. How would you rate his first year?

He’s worked mainly on main events and has only suffered a couple of losses. It’s been a great year thus far for Sikoa as part of the Bloodline story, and I don’t think his first year as part of the WWE main roster could be any better. He’s done very well.

After AEW Collision ended on Saturday night, Matt Jackson did a victory lap around the ring. Thoughts?

Matt Jackson is an immature child who needs to grow the hell up. And that’s all I’ve got to say about that.

Trent’s Mom w/ the Mini Van versus Shelton Benjamin’s Mom versus Judy Bagwell. Who wins?

The Battle of The Moms. All we’ve ever seen Trent’s mom do is drive the Mini Van and give her son and his friends some cookies so they could use the baking sheets as weapons. Shelton’s Mom wasn’t even his mom but was an actor playing the part. Judy Bagwell was annoying, but she was half of the WCW Tag Team Champions with Rick Steiner, so she’s got some in-ring experience. I’ll go with Judy Bagwell for this one.

Who was better? Chief Jay Strongbow or Wahoo McDaniel?

It’s not even close. Strongbow was an Italian playing the role of an Indian and he sucked. Wahoo was the real deal and he kicked ass. Wahoo was a million times better.

Disco Inferno allegedly called for an All-Japanese faction to be formed in WWE called Pearl Harbor. Thoughts?

He was joking, right? Please tell me he was joking. Disco says a lot of dumb things, but he’s a pretty smart dude. I’m sure that if he did say this, it was just a joke to get a rise out of the boys. At least I hope it was. Although to be honest, in the 70s and early 80s, I could see this happening. Considering some of the gimmicks and characters that were going on at the time, would a Japanese tag team called Pearl Harbor be shocking? Truthfully, it would be just another day at the office for most promotions then.
