Ultimate Wrestling Q&A
Cody Rhodes, Miro, Orange Cassidy & More

It’s more of the best damn Q&A, period. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
Do you think that the “personal issue” Cody had that led him to not resign from AEW had anything to do with them signing CM Punk? Jericho aside, at the time he was one of the only people to have actually worked with Punk before in WWE.
I think people are reading too much into Cody’s statement about a personal issue and I doubt it has anything to do with CM Punk. More likely, it was the lack of structure backstage in AEW, the childish behavior of some of his fellow EVPs, the bad booking, and the lack of storylines as compared to what Cody used to throughout his entire career. If it was Punk, he’d say it was Punk, but Cody hasn’t said anything so I doubt it is.
So what do you think the story between Miro and CJ Perry/Lana is going to be?
Miro is in denial of everything and Lana is his wife, as everyone knows. So I guess he’ll be in denial, while she is there to get her husband back, after their separation in their WWE careers.
Does Orange Cassidy take time off now? What do you think he will do when he returns?
Cassidy has been working a tough schedule, at least based on AEW schedules and the current roster. So if he’s taking time off, that’s probably a good thing. And when he returns, he goes after Moxley to get his International Championship back.
Who do you eventually see MJF and Adam Cole dropping the ROH tag titles to? I would love for it to be Roddy Strong and a returning Kyle O Reilly.
Strong and O’Reilly would be a good team-up and take those titles, but my heart is still set on The Dark Order having a rematch from All Out and taking those titles.
Do you think given his termination from AEW and his past heat with the WWE we’ll see CM Punk go to New Japan if and when he decides to return to wrestling?
New Japan works too many events with AEW, so I doubt that New Japan would risk that relationship by signing up Punk, even for limited events. I’m still thinking that the most likely possibility is that Punk and Endeavor, with Triple H as the middle-man, will work out something and we’ll see Punk in WWE.
If Mercedes Monè signs with AEW would you like her to feud with Saraya straight away? If not what would be an interesting feud for her to begin her run with?
Given their past and history together, Saraya and Mercedes would be the most likely story that has to be done if both end up in AEW at the same time. And once that’s settled, The Boss might have to do a run with Dr. Britt Baker. Why? Because they can.
What do you think is going through Punk’s head after everything that’s happened since Saturday?
“Free at last! Free at last! Lord oh mighty, I’m free at last!” That and telling his wife, AJ Lee, to call up Jim Cornette and find out what the phone number of that lawyer Corny talks about so much. Let’s get Stephen P. New on the case!
Should Orange Cassidy be the one to eventually dethrone MJF after this epic International title run?
While Orange has impressed me with his recent run of good matches, he is not the one to take out MJF and win that AEW Championship. Cassidy is a good champion, but he’s not World Champion material, at least not in my opinion.
Who would win Nation of Domination versus Judgement Day?
Which members of the Nation are we speaking of? I’ll say Ron Simmons, D-Lo Brown, The Rock, and Mark Henry. The Judgement Day members would be Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dom Mysterio, and J.D. McDonagh with Mami on the outside. And The Nation would win.
So there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Stay well, my friends. Be sure to watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
