As I continue to clean out my inbox, it’s yet another edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. You know you love it. So are you ready? I said, are you ready? Let’s do this.

Ace Steele has been released from AEW. Thoughts?

Steele is Punk’s friend so is it any surprise that despite not doing anything wrong and having nothing to do with this most recent episode between Punk and Jack Perry, Steele is the one who is given the pink slip? I hope that Steele has spoken to his attorneys because if this isn’t a case of wrongful termination, I don’t know what is. Steele will be okay. Of that, I have no doubt, but AEW looks like the assholes here.

Should AEW fire Jack Perry for the incident at All In with CM Punk?

Perry was the instigator of this situation with his on-air comments, throwing an obvious shoot towards Punk. If Punk was fired, then Perry should be as well.

Who would you rather have as a boss? Vince McMahon or Tony Khan?

Tony Khan. I could pretty much do as I please and collect a paycheck at the same time. So long as I don’t make the EVPs mad at me, I’d be set. Okay, I’d last about a week, but it’d still be cool.

Should Paul Heyman be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in Philadelphia as part of the Class of 2024?

That’s a no-brainer to be sure. Heyman being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the home of ECW? Book it, Triple H.

William Regal versus Dirty Dutch Mantell. Who wins?

I’m a big fan of Dirty Dutch and always have been, but in the ring, Regal would win. No doubt in my mind about that.

When Jack Perry returns, should they use Justin Timberlake’s song, Cry Me a River, as his entrance theme?

AEW should never bring him back, but if they do, and you know that they will, that song would be perfect for his character, and I’ll admit it. I would pop big time and it would be a great move by AEW.

In his prime, The Honky Tonk Man versus Gunther. Who wins?

This would be a fun match with the promos and build, but once they stepped into the ring, the winner, who would dominate the match from the opening bell, would be the longest-running Intercontinental Champion of all time, the Ring General, Gunther.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like AEW missed an opportunity for a Hat Match with Jake Hager? Thoughts?

I’d just like to see Jake wrestle regularly and I don’t care what kind of match it is. A Hate Match? Well, that purple hat was over and a big part of his character, so even though it’s kind of dumb, it’d fit well with the AEW product. Book it, Tony.

Is the Undertaker being on WWE’s Mount Rushmore a given?

For the WWE’s version of Mt. Rushmore, I think having the Dead Man as one of the faces, yeah, it’s a given.

Conrad Thompson wants you to cohost 5 weekly podcasts for his network. Who would your five cohosts be if you could get anyone you want, who doesn’t already have a podcast of their own?

Five podcasts with five different people? That would be a helluva job and burnout would happen rather quickly. But that being said, I’d give it a shot. And the five co-hosts that I’d love to have, I’d go with Lisa “Ivory” Moretti, R-Truth, Buff Bagwell, The Fallen Artist Derk Douglas (look him up), and the legendary Baron Von Raschke. And each of these shows? To paraphrase The Miz, they would be AWESOME!

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe if you haven’t already. And with that, let’s wrap things up. It’ ‘s time for dinner and maybe some AEW and then I’ll be back later tonight with more stuff. Stay well, my friends, and watch out for foreign objects. I’ll see you at the matches and that is all the people need to know.

Ubuntu!
