It’s another edition of the best damn wrestling Q&A column ever, the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. We’re still playing catch-up. So are you ready? Let’s do this.

Cardi B seems interested in doing something with WWE. Who should she wrestle at WrestleMania 40?

I have no desire to see Cardi B anywhere near the WWE or Wrestlemania. Pro wrestling is much too high class to tolerate the likes of that clown. But, that being said, if WWE does decide to scrape rock bottom and bring her in, the obvious opponent would be the recently returned Nia Jax. The Hole versus The WAP. The story writes itself. And yes, I know Nia has a reputation for being wreckless and causing injuries in the ring, but accidents happen, right? Cardi B versus Nia Jax. Book it, Triple H.

Now that Gunther has set the record, who in your opinion, should be THE ONE to dethrone him?

How about the returning Carlito? Yeah, that’d be cool. Or maybe a possibly returning Matt Cardona, with the help of his lovely wife, Chelsea Green. Yeah, that’d be pretty sweet too. Woo woo woo, you know it!

Which opponent would you like to see for Gunther at WrestleMania in April?

Gunther versus Brock Lesnar. It has to be done.

According to one person very close to the situation, The Young Bucks had said if six months went by without CM Punk having any issues, they would have been willing to sit down and work with him. Thoughts?

Yet at the same time, these executives of the company mock the man, continue to send leaks to their media stooge, and do things to attempt to set him off, just the like children they are. Real executives, who cared about the company, would want to deal with the issue as quickly as possible and move on. But as stunts like this statement prove, the Bucks are not professional executives and have no reason to be in those roles.

Chris Jericho isn’t available. Who is Lance Storm’s greatest rival?

This is tough since Jericho and Storm were each other’s first opponents and they’ve been joined at the hip, as both partners and rivals ever since. So take Jericho out of the picture and who is left? I guess I’ll go with Matt Hardy, who wrestled Storm in 2016 in his final match as an active wrestler.

At the WWE Superstar Spectacle show, WWE Hall of Famer The Great Khali returned and declared he had one more match left in him. Who should be Khali’s final opponent in his last match?

Khali versus Omos in a Battle of the Giants. Keep it simple.

If you could do a podcast or just talk sports with ONE media personality, who would it be?

It’s a tough call, but I’ll go with WWE Hall of Famer Lisa “Ivory” Moretti. Imagine the stories that this woman could tell.

Meltzer thinks Punk may return to AEW if WWE doesn’t want him. He also mentioned IMPACT and New Japan as possible places for Punk. Thoughts?

I don’t see Impact as having the necessary money, and New Japan is too aligned with AEW to make much sense. And so far as AEW goes, Tony Khan would have to get rid of the Buckeroos and come up with some insane money to get Punk back in that company. I think Meltzer is just talking to be talking. Nothing more.

WON: Gable Steveson has been removed from the WWE NXT roster. Thoughts?

And that was another big scoop from Meltzer, but then immediately after that was posted by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was announced that Steveson will be wrestling his second match at an upcoming NXT event. So Dave was wrong, as usual. Big surprise, right?

Thoughts on The Warlord and The Barbarian, aka the Powers of Pain?

Two big men who are very underrated and deserve far more credit than they get. If I were to ever get into a fight, these are the men I’d want watching my back for sure. True legends in every sense of the word.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. With that being said, let’s wrap this up so I can move to the next batch of questions that’s been waiting so patiently for me. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
