WWE will present the Fastlane PPV tonight on the WWE Network and Peacock. Here are my thoughts on what will happen.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura – Last Man Standing match.

This should be an excellent match, but does anyone really think that Shinsuke Nakamura will be walking out as the WWE World Champion? Really? Shinsuke has been built up as a credible challenger and has looked better in this feud than he has in years, but despite all of that, I’m looking for Seth to take a beating, but come back and use that big stomp to take Shinsuke out and retain the gold.

Winner and STILL WWE World Champion: Seth Rollins

John Cena and LA Knight vs. The Bloodline’s Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa with Paul Heyman.

We haven’t seen Roman in a while, but he’s due to return next week. We’ve seen a lot of things happening, such as an alliance with The Judgement Day and some dissension between Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman. Roman will have a full day ahead of him to restore order in the family. I’m expecting to see Cena and LA Knight steal a win here just to give Roman one more problem to address upon his return. Knight needs a big win anyhow.

Winners: LA Knight & John Cena

WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY vs. Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair.

Iyo is so good in the ring, but her reign so far, it’s been less than awesome. I think that Asuka was inserted into this match so Charlotte would have someone to pin to get the belt, but still allow Iyo to look strong and be the former champion who was never beaten. It’ll be a fun match, but if Iyo retains, I’ll be very surprised.

Winner and NEW WWE Women’s Champion: Charlotte Flair.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Finn Balor & Damian Priest vs. Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso.

Mami just set everyone straight on Smackdown and no one wants to piss off Mami. I’d look for a lot of interference from Dom, Rhea, and most likely JD as well. And when the smoke settles, the tag team titles will remain exactly where they are right now, with the Judgement Day.

Winners and STILL WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions: Finn Balor & Damian Priest, The Judgement Day.

Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits vs. The LWO.

A big confrontation on Smackdown and 2/3 of the LWO are out of action and won’t be wrestling in this match. Rey went to make a phone call and I’m sure that the person he went to call was very cool. I expect to see Lashley and The Street Profits decimate what remains of the LWO, and then, once that beating is over, we may see Rey thrown out of the LWO as a new leader takes over. Yeah, that would absolutely be cool. So The Hurt Profits win and then civil war with the LWO. Sounds like a plan to me.

Winners: Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits.

And there you go. Only five matches have been announced for the show at the time of this writing, but they’re all solid matches and I’d much rather see 5 good matches than 14 matches thrown together with no reason or purpose behind them. And those are my predictions. So what are yours? Let me know in the comments, along with any other questions, thoughts, or opinions you might have going on. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Thanks for reading. Take care, be well, and I’ll see you at the matches.
