Another edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. You’re welcome. Let’s do this.

Larry Zbyszko versus Jon Moxley. Who wins?

Zbyszko is a wrestler while Moxley is a bad stuntman, who seems to have forgotten how to work a match, use psychology, or do anything, but bleed. Larry would give Moxley a wrestling lesson and should take the win here.

When it comes to Ric Flair, The Nature Boy, who would you say he had his best matches with while NWA WORLD CHAMPION?

While traveling the world as the NWA World Champion, Flair’s best matches, in my opinion, were Harley Race, Dusty Rhodes, and Ricky Morton.

Thoughts on The American Dream Dusty Rhodes?

A wrestling legend and one of the biggest stars of the 70s and 80s. Dusty was not one of my favorites, since I tended to prefer the heels, but the man had charisma second to none. Dusty’s ego as a booker has kind of dampened my enthusiasm for him, but Dusty drew money and put butts in the seats like few others could even dream of. He represented the American Dream for many fans, and after his in-ring career ended, he passed his knowledge to many future stars at the WWE Performance Center. An icon in every sense of the word.

What are your thoughts on Dan Severn’s run in the WWF?

It was there, but that’s about it. I remember Severn and he’s as tough as they come, but his lack of charisma and the burial of the NWA faction by WWE Management at the time. Jim Cornette was the spokesman for Severn at the time, but that was the only thing interesting about Severn’s run.

Thoughts on Outlaw Ron Bass?

A tough Cowboy who had a good character, was good in the ring, cut a good promo, and was a strong mid-carder in every territory he ever worked. Bass was a solid performer who would never be the top guy, but he always made the promotion better with his presence.

Ric Flair says he still wants one more match. Yes or no? And if yes, then who should it be against?

Ric clarified his statement in a more recent interview with PWInsider and Mike Johnson and now states that he doesn’t want another match. Yes, Ric is backpedaling. Go figure. He just says that if it did happen, he’d be better prepared the next time around. As for who it should be against, if it ever happened, how about Mike Jackson? He’s in the proper age range, age 73, but unlike Flair, he’s in great shape and health and could carry Flair to an excellent match.

Do you think Charlotte Flair will break her father’s record of 16 recognized World Championship title reigns?

Charlotte already has 14 Championships to her credit is still relatively young and has many years left in her career, bearing any serious injuries. Taking that into consideration, I think it’s not will Charlotte break Flair and Cena’s record, but just when. She had many more titles in her wrestling future.

Serious question, if WWE were to take WWE NXT on the road, do you think they would draw bigger crowds than AEW Dynamite?

Based on the sizes of the most recent AEW crowds, I think NXT would easily outdraw AEW on the road, especially with the current mix of names from the main rosters and the NXT talents. Also, I don’t think WWE/NXT would make the mistake of booking big arenas that hold large crowds for their shows, unlike what AEW currently seems to do far too often. They’d book properly sized arenas where even if there is a smaller crowd, it looks larger than it is and strong. The bottom line is that NXT is a hotter product right now and head to head with AEW on the road, NXT would have the better shows and draw the better crowds.

Do you think that the war that has erupted in the Middle East will affect the WWE PLE, Crown Jewel, which is scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia in a couple of weeks?

That’s an interesting question and I’m sure that WWE Management and the promoters of the Saudi events have been talking about the current situation. I don’t expect that it will affect the Crown Jewel show, but I’m sure that all the possibilities and circumstances are being considered.

Chuck & Billy w/ Rico versus Hook & RVD w/ Danhausen. Who wins?

My pick for this one would be Chuck, Billy, and Rico. They’re a solid team and had their stuff together far better than Hook & RVD have ever shown as of yet.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
