It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s roll.
Do you think they take the WHC off of Rollins at Crown Jewel and McIntyre finally gets his moment in front of fans? Or does this all become chaos with a Damien Priest Cash-In?
I haven’t heard anything yet about Drew signing a new deal so I’m not sure if they’ll put the belt on him again or not. It would be nice to see him get his big moment in front of fans though and Crown Jewel would be a nice place to make it happen. So far as Damian goes, I don’t see him cashing in the MITB contract just yet. If it happens, it’ll be on a Monday Night and RAW.
If you had the opportunity to join one of either NWO or DX, during their peak, which one group would you choose?
Of the two, I’d prefer to be a part of DX. In the NWO, I’d just be another face in the crowd and one of many, but each DX member meant something to the faction and made an individual impact. And if you’re not down with that, two words for you.
How do YOU end the Roman Reigns title reign?
With a clean pin and loss at Wrestlemania, preferably to Cody Rhodes, completing the story.
Do you think Adam Copeland in AEW will have as big of an impact as their other signings? Mox, Jericho, Cole, Danielson, etc.
If the early ratings are any indication, the answer would be no. I like Edge, but his return, thus far, has been, except for the moments with Christian, lackluster at best.
If you could join any current faction from any company today, which one would it be and why?
It would be The Judgement Day. As for why, that group, especially Dom & Mami, seems like they would be fun to hang around and work with.
What would be the best ‘manager’ vs ‘manager’ matchup and what stipulation? (Real managers, not wrestlers being managers for a bit).
How about a match of Bobby Heenan, in his prime, versus James J. Dillon, also in his prime? Both men were outstanding wrestlers in their youth and, even if they both wrestled in their “manager gimmicks”, it would be a far better match than 90% of the stuff we currently see on regular television.
Thoughts on Trick Williams losing to Dom only 3 days into his reign?
Trick was used to help further a storyline and advance Dom and The Judgement Day. It’s just that simple. Williams’s time will come and he will, no doubt, have many title reigns in his future. Dom and The Judgement Day had the chance to show their resilience while giving Trick a chance to taste gold and have a quick run with the belt. It was all storyline advancement though.
Is Repo Man coming back at the Royal Rumble?
I doubt it, but it would be very cool to see happen.
Do you think that WWE or AEW should bring Zac Efron or one of the other stars of The Von Erich movie, The Iron Claw, and do some crossover promotional work, including maybe an angle or match, to help promote the movie?
It would be a good promotion for the movie and would draw some eyes to the wrestling promotion as well. If it does happen, I think AEW is more likely of the big two to reach out and do some crossover work with the movie, since one of their own, MJF, plays the role of Lance Von Erich. It would be good for all parties involved and make a lot of sense. I’ll be surprised if it doesn’t happen.
Nikita Koloff or Nikolai Volkoff?
Nikolai was a solid worker and played his role as the Russian Villain very well, but Nikita was presented as a dominant monster who destroyed everyone who got in his way. Nikolai might put up a fight, but Nikita would crush and destroy his Soviet rival.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
