Brock Anderson, Darby Allin, ROH & More

It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A and that is all the people need to know. Let’s roll.
Brock Anderson has been removed from the AEW roster. So WWE?
I would not be surprised to see Brock eventually show up at the WWE Performance Center as part of NXT, but honestly, I think the best thing for now would be to just go out there and wrestle. Take every Indy appearance he can get and just get better, in the ring and on the mic. Brock is solid and has a lot of potential, but in my opinion, he just needs more experience, and going out there and wrestling is the best way to get it.
Lacey Evans recently claimed that she nearly got into several fights backstage at WWE. “I can’t tell you how many damn fights I almost got into. I verbally told them every time ‘I’ll work at McDonalds before I ever sit back & have anybody talk to me the way you talk to me because you feel I owe you something.'” Thoughts?
I think Lacey is just mad and talking to be talking, making excuses for not being able to get over. If what she says is true, she sounds kind of like an entitled, spoiled brat. Lacey just needs to shut up already.
Smackdown GM Nick Aldis had RAW GM Adam Pearce escorted from the building on Smackdown. Pearce said, “Let the games begin.” So Aldis versus Pearce at Survivor Series? Thoughts?
Two former NWA World Champions together in a WWE match? I think we need more build than just Survivor Series, so I’d save this for Wrestlemania 40 as part of the two-night extravaganza. And yes, I’d love to see it happen.
Ace Steele is with Impact Wrestling, starting at Bound For Glory. If Steele is there, will CM Punk soon follow?
Steele is working at Impact as a Producer, which is a job that was originally offered to Steele many months earlier after the first firing from AEW, and then offered again after Steele was dismissed from AEW for no reason the second time, so that’s not a surprise. Will Punk follow? Punk was spotted visiting backstage at the Bound For Glory PPV, so even if he’s not interested in becoming part of the TNA roster, he’s still working the marks by showing up and visiting his friends.
Is Andrade El Idolo v Bryan Danielson a dream match?
For Tony Khan, yes, but for the rest of us, not really. It was a good match, but there was no context or build. It was just two names thrown out there for no reason and well, Tony was happy.
Ox Baker versus Ken Patera. Who wins?
While Ox was an imposing character to look out and witness, his in-ring skills, were not all that. Ox knew the psychology, but he was not a great wrestler. Patera, on the other hand, was a decent wrestler, trained by Verne Gagne, and was legitimately known as the World’s Strongest Man, long before Mark Henry was a twinkle in his father’s eye. It’d be a fun match to see, but the winner would be Ken Patera, most likely with his swinging neckbreaker.
Darby Allin came out on Nitro Circus, admitted he had a broken shoulder, and then did a stunt where he landed on and reinjured his shoulder. Is Allin stupid? Thoughts?
I think Allin is a thrill junkie and loves to act without thinking because this was just a dumb move. AEW can not be happy that an already injured Darby would act so recklessly, causing further injuries to himself, and not thinking about the consequences. Is he stupid? I won’t go that far, but he doesn’t think ahead.
Simon Miller, from WhatCulture, will be wrestling for Impact Wrestling at their Turning Point PPV on October 27 in New Castle, UK, against Joe Hendry. Thoughts?
I’m happy for Simon and this should be a fun match, plus a great move for Simon’s in-ring career. I’ll give it a golden up.
Eddie Kingston claims that he was “depressed” after his match with CM Punk. Thoughts?
Kingston is an entitled crybaby and a product of today’s woken society. He cried before because Sammy Guevera called him “fat”, and he has complained about so many trivial things, like a big baby. So he had a great match and rivalry with CM Punk and it helped him get over with the AEW fans and it made him a sad Panda. Oy vey! Kingston is a freaking joke sometimes.
How would you fix AEW’s ROH product?
They need a separate identity apart from AEW, their branding and television, and a booker/promotion that highlights the wrestling and stories. They need a good booker to make matches, create stories, and push the ROH talents, stories, and promotion, as a legit wrestling promotion, and not just AEW’s side-piece. So long as it’s part of AEW and under the Tony Khan promotional umbrella, ROH will forever be a shadow of what it once was and should be.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
