Another edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. You know you love it. So let’s roll.

Impact Wrestling is no more. They’re changing their name back to TNA (Total Non-Stop Action). Thoughts?

It’s a great rebrand that makes sense and adds excitement and momentum to their brand. TNA has had some great TV, some great matches, and great events for a while now, but they’ve been needing a game-changing moment. This may be the moment they needed.

Sonny Kiss is now with TNA. Thoughts?

Kiss is too unique and interesting a character to ignore for long. AEW didn’t want to keep him so now he’s part of TNA instead. Good for him.

Juventud Guerrera is back with TNA/Impact Wrestling. Thoughts?

Juvi was just doing a one-off appearance for the Bound For Glory PPV and looked great. Juvi may be older, but he’s still “The Juice” and still works regularly in Mexico. He’s still hot!

Kane or The Boogeyman?

While the Boogeyman was a great character, he was not that much of an in-ring performer. Kane would win this one and win it easily.

Antonio Inoki versus Brock Lesnar. Who wins?

Inoki was a wrestling legend with a big ego, but Brock Lesnar is Brock Lesnar. Inoki would be taking a trip to Suplex City and eating an F-5. Brock will win.

I think TK should get with the owners of CMLL AAA NWA NJPW Impact and MLW and have a two-day event and kick open the Forbidden Door. There are so many great matches that could be made. What are your thoughts?

It’s a great idea, but with that many different promotions and that many egos involved, it would never happen or work. AAA and CMLL won’t work together. NWA and AEW have worked together in the past, but don’t get along now. MLW has accused other promotions of contract tampering, as as Tony Khan and AEW. And with all of these promotions working in the same building, there would be some poaching of talents belonging to other companies. Like I said, a novel idea, but with that many bosses involved, it’d never get off the ground or work.

Elijah Akeem & Kareem Muhammad, The Zambuie Express versus Brian Pillman Jr. & Brock Anderson. Who wins?

The Zambuie Express, better known to casual fans as Ray Candy & Leroy Brown, were a hot team in the territories in the mid-80s with good runs in Florida and Georgia. Those were some big guys. Pillman Jr. and Brock? They don’t have the experience as of yet, but they would have something better in their corner, being Brock’s father, Arn Anderson. The second-generation Horsemen would find a way and steal the win.

According to Leaping Lanny Poffo, Bam Bam Bigelow was the “least talented wrestler ever to get a push!” Thoughts on Bam Bam Bigelow and do you agree with Poffo’s comment?

Bigelow was a good wrestler and very underrated. He moved well for a man his size and was an excellent in-ring talent. Poffo just didn’t like Bigelow and had personal issues, nothing more. I liked Lanny, but on this, he was wrong.

Would you like Elias in AEW?

He couldn’t be Elias, but still, seeing Jeff Sciullo show up in AEW or TNA would be good to see. He’s a good wrestler and has a good presence about him that WWE managed to screw up through bad booking and the Vince McMahon factor. So, no Elias, but maybe Elmer? I’d like to see Elias back on TV and in the ring.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
