The Ultimate Wrestling Q&A is here. And that is all the people need to know. Let’s roll!

Grayson Waller has been active on Twitter and making fun of Taylor Swift, including challenging Swift’s current boyfriend, Travis Kelce, to defend Swift’s honor against him at Wrestlemania 40. Thoughts?

It’s getting attention and drawing eyes to Waller and the WWE, so that’s smart business. And can you imagine how things would be if Kelce, and by extension, Taylor Swift, ended up at Wrestlemania as a result of this trolling, that’s easily great marketing and best for business. I like it. Of course, we all know that by April and Wrestlemania 40, Taylor and Kelce will have broken up and the entire relationship will be nothing but a series of songs on her next album. But for now, it’s an easy way to get heat and have fun so kudos to Waller.

Ric Flair was Tony Khan’s surprise to Sting on Dynamite. Do you think we’ll see Flair & Sting either wrestle or team up for Sting’s last match?

With Flair, who knows? I’m sure that we’ll see Ric get physical and give a chop, take a bump, etc., at some point. And knowing that Flair will do anything for a buck, I’m sure he’s already in Tony Khan’s head about being Sting’s last opponent and maybe turning on Sting at some point. I hope we don’t see Flair in any capacity as we build to Sting’s retirement, but I know we won’t be that lucky. What his role will be, I have no idea, but at this point, I don’t really care either.

To counter Sting’s retirement match and Flair’s jumping ship, there are rumors that WWE might counter by bringing back Goldberg and having Goldberg’s retirement match. Thoughts? And if so, who would you like to see Goldberg wrestle in his final match?

I hope not. Goldberg is seemingly retired and I hope that he stays that way. Goldberg’s last few runs with the WWE have been less than impressive and seemed to get worse with every match or appearance. If WWE wants to counter Flair’s appearance, use the stars that are there and just have good stories or promos, as they’ve been doing anyhow. No Goldberg is needed. But if Goldberg does come back and wrestle a last match, then his opponent should be a returning Matt Cardona or Heath Slater. Use Goldberg’s presence to pass the torch to a returning talent and get them over.

Matt Hardy recently spoke about wanting to turn heel and form a faction with brother Jeff, Adam Copeland, and Christian. Thoughts?

It’d make for a nice moment to see all four men together, but aside from a nice piece of nostalgia, it wouldn’t work. Matt & Jeff are not what they once were, and honestly, neither does Adam Copeland. There’s too much history, both good and bad with these four guys and for any long-term planning and stories, it unfortunately would bomb big time.

So Tony Khan takes shots at Vince McMahon for his behavior over the years but brings Ric Flair, whose legacy with alcohol and women is nearly as bad as Vince’s, into his company. Hypocritical or what? Thoughts?

Tony is a mark and Flair will do anything for a buck. Hypocrisy be thy name, Tony Khan. Yeah, it’s all about the dollar and for Tony to have a feel-good moment with a shiny new toy, regardless of how bad it looks.

This week, in the TV ratings, NXT Halloween Havoc, beat AEW Dynamite in its regular time slot, 787,000 overnight viewers to 774,000. The only big name brought in for NXT was Becky Lynch, who defended and lost her NXT Women’s Championship. AEW hyped Sting’s big surprise and brought in Ric Flair. It’s the lowest-rated Dynamite of 2023. So what kind of excuse will AEW fans and Tony Khan give now that a regular NXT show beat their A-show? Thoughts?

The numbers don’t lie and WWE’s C-show is beating AEW’s A-show in the television ratings. I haven’t seen Tony Khan tweeting about these numbers, but I guess the truth hurts. Oh well!

Arn Anderson did not renew his contract option with AEW and is now a free agent. Thoughts?

Arn wasn’t being used regularly by AEW and they released his son, Brock, so this is not unexpected. Aside from his podcast, I’m hoping that Arn ends up back at WWE/NXT, maybe as a promo coach for the Performance Center or as a trainer/agent. Arn was great in that role for so many years and that would probably be his best option. I’d also like to see Arn and Brock maybe show up in the NWA as they make their television network debut for the CW Network. Arn as part of the NWA just fits and makes sense and would be a great place for Brock to learn, get more experience, and improve.

JYD versus Vader. Who wins?

It’s time! It’s time! It’s Vader time! ‘Nuff said!

Lance Anoa’i, the real-life cousin to Roman Reigns, has apparently asked for his release from MLW. Thoughts?

Given their current ongoing lawsuit against WWE for alleged contract tampering, it’ll be interesting to see if MLW grants Anoa’i his release and if they do, what kind of no-compete might be included. Anoa’i is a good wrestler with a great look and I think that WWE would be interested in bringing him in as part of The Bloodline angle. I guess this is a watch-and-see situation to see if this release is granted and then see what happens next.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
