It’s another edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug and that is all the people need to know. Let’s roll!

What’s your opinion? I believe that Don Muraco should have been the WWF heavyweight champion. Thoughts?

Muraco was a strong wrestler and talented guy, but was he World Champion material? As a wrestler, yes, but based on the stories I’ve heard about Muraco’s demons away from the ring, I can understand why he was never made the champion. Yes,actions have consequences and while Muraco was a damn good performer, could he be relied on to be the face of the company? It sure doesn’t seem that way.

Matt Riddle’s first match outside of WWE will be against RVD. Thoughts? And if these two formed a tag team, what would it be called?

Riddle versus RVD will be a solid match and is a good way for Riddle to start his post-WWE career. As for a tag team with the two men, I’d just call them “High Times!”.

R-Truth versus Danhausen. Who wins?

The money here would be in the promos and the build more than anything else. The comedy spots would be off the charts and the fans would probably enjoy the interaction. I know that I would. As for the match itself, Truth would win.

Tony Khan brought in Ric Flair. Who’s next? How long before we see Hulk Hogan as part of AEW?

There are rumors that Khan is trying to do exactly that and bring in Hogan for the beginning of 2024 for a huge pop and impact. I hope the rumors are wrong. Bringing in Ric Flair, in my opinion, was a bad idea. Bringing in Hogan, especially after Khan “banned” Hogan and ex-wife Linda “for life” a couple of years ago, would not only be hypocritical, but even worse of an idea. Let’s hope it doesn’t happen.

With so many people seemingly bashing AEW at the moment, If you had the opportunity to chat with Tony Khan and suggest changes to get things back on track, what would you tell him?

I’d tell him to step away from social media, quit being a friend and start being a boss, and to delegate. Hire experienced people to do the booking, produce the matches, and run the various aspects of the company. Step back, pay the bills, and hire others to take care of the legwork, the stories, the booking, etc. And hire me. It sure as hell couldn’t hurt and I wouldn’t steer Tony wrong.

Stan Hansen versus Macho Man Randy Savage. Who wins?

Macho would take a huge beating and walk out battered like a piece of fish at the Catholic Church on Sunday, but Stan would be the man doing the honors and taking the JOB here. Macho Man wins.

WWE announced that the reality series, Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez, starring Bianca Belair and Montez Ford, will be available on Hulu starting February 2, 2024. Are you planning on watching? Thoughts?

I don’t care and I won’t be watching. Bianca comes across to me as fake and generic and Montez isn’t that much better. A reality show? Eh!

How would you rate Adam Copeland’s run in AEW so far?

The ratings have not improved and have gotten worse since Copeland’s debut.So with that in mind, I’d rate his run thus far as a bomb.

Mace & Mansoor said recently that they wanted to work with Tyler Breeze as part of the Maximum Male Models in WWE and it nearly happened. Thoughts?

Tyler Breeze would have been a great character to pair with Mace and Mansoor and may have been able to help get them over and be a successful part of the WWE roster. Okay, I’m kidding. Mace and Mansoor had the talent, but that gimmick was never going to get over regardless of who WWE brought in to help them. I would have liked to see it happen, but I’m a fan of Tyler Breeze and pairing him with the MMM duo would have been comedy gold. Too bad it never happened.

Best case scenario for the devil? Worst case scenario for the devil?

The best case scenario would be CM Punk, obviously, but most likely, Punk will not be the man revealed as the masked Devil character. Aside from Punk, the most likely option will be Jack Perry. I’ll list Perry as the worst-case scenario because I have no desire to see that entitled little pisshead back in AEW and especially not being rewarded for being “Mr. Cry Me A River”. So Perry is the worst-case scenario person. I guess that’s better than Britt Baker. Okay, maybe not.
