More of the best damn wrestling Q&A, period. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s roll!

Vince McMahon is selling 8,400,000 shares of his TKO stock. Thoughts?

I think Vince has realized that his days of being the higher power of the WWE and pro wrestling are over, but he’s cashing out for nearly a billion dollars and still has a ton of stock in TKO as well. Vince is doing what’s best for Vince and after fifty years of living, breathing, and being consumed by WWE, he’s stepping back to enjoy the fruits of his labor. Good for him.

If Vince sells his TKO stock, he’ll be netting about $800,000.000. Do you think he’ll retire or try to buy out AEW?

I don’t think Vince will ever totally retire. He’s not built for that and will find other ways to fill his time and energy. As for AEW, Vince is still a huge stockholder with TKO, so he’s not going to spend money to compete against his business interests. I could see Vince maybe investing and helping out a smaller, independent type promotion, just to keep his foot in the water, but I doubt AEW is even on his radar, I’m sure there are no-compete clauses in his contracts with TKO to prevent working for a rival promotion.

Tony Khan reportedly turned down The CW and having talks about ROH being shown on their network. Thoughts?

Tony had his reasons, I’m sure. This happened a couple of years ago and I’m sure that Tony had plans in play and maybe his deals with Warner Bros. would prevent having shows on a rival network. We don’t know the details of the potential talks so anything we say is just speculation and nothing more.

Downtown Bruno recently said that just because Young Rock was canceled, it’s not through or over. Thoughts?

There are several examples of shows being canceled by one network and then being bought up and aired by another. And with the various streaming services in play, nothing in Hollywood is definite or promised. Another season of Young Rock? I could see it happening.

Jonathan Coachman says he’ll never return to the WWE. Thoughts?

Coachman said that and I’m sure he believes it right now, but things change and in pro wrestling, never say never. If the right opportunity presents itself and the situation changes, never say never.

A match between Komander and [Gran] Metalik was allegedly pulled from the 10/20/23 edition of AEW Rampage because Metalik allegedly refused to lose to Komander. Thoughts?

A wrestler refusing to put another wrestler and forcing the company to change their booking plans for television? Wrestling has changed so much and unless it’s a major talent, this doesn’t happen, nor should it… ever. Only in Tony Khan’s AEW. Oy vey!

If you could make any three matches, using anyone who’s ever wrestled, what would they be?

Time to play fantasy booker? Okay, here we go. How about Ivory & Victoria versus Bayley & Carmella in a Vegas Street Fight? Harley Race versus Triple H would be my second match. And for the third, Brock Lesnar versus Scott Steiner.

What are three wrestling books that you consider to be “Must Read” for wrestling fans?

Mick Foley’s books are all must-reads, as is Ole Anderson’s “How Corporate America Destroyed Professional Wrestling”. And the third? I’m waiting for Lisa Moretti, aka Ivory to sit down and write her autobiography, with stories of WWE, GLOW, and life in-between. That will be my third pick. She hasn’t written it yet, but I’m keeping that spot open for her future writing endeavors.

After setting a record reign of over 500 days, plus defeating Keith Lee on television, Samoa Joe vacated the ROH Television Championship to go after MJF’s AEW World Championship. Thoughts?

AEW just shit all over Lee and that ROH Television Championship. If Joe is giving up the title, he should have either lost the title to Lee, to put Lee over, or done it in a moment separate from the Lee match. Joe essentially just tossed the title away after making Lee look like a jobber. I don’t it how they thought this was a good idea.

Wardlow & Matt Morgan in their primes versus Baron Von Raschke & Mad Dog Vachon? Who wins?

Wardlow and Matt Morgan are big and strong, but Vachon and The Baron are veterans, the real deal, and legit crazy as hell. At least Mad Dog was. The Baron was an amateur wrestling champion who could not be underestimated. This would be a good match. Wardlow and Morgan would win.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
