Happy Thanksgiving Eve to all of you. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s roll.

Ronda Rousey is part of ROH. Thoughts?

According to Tony Khan, Rousey is only working on a handshake deal and is not under contract so she’s not quite All-Elite yet. If she does end up signing a deal with AEW, I won’t be surprised. At this point, Rousey is just doing it for the money and I’m sure that Tony will be paying more money for a washed-up ex-UFC fighter than WWE will under the new TKO Umbrella. She’s not part of AEW/ROH yet, but most likely, she soon will be.

Tony Khan’s big signing, aka “The Best Wrestler In The World” was Will Ospreay. Thoughts?

It was a bit of a letdown, but not a bad announcement either. With the New Japan connection, having Ospreay as part of the AEW roster, when he’s already been hanging around with the promotion for a while, makes sense. He’s not the best wrestler in the world, but he’ll probably be better off in AEW than anywhere else.

If it was your decision, what would the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame class look like?

My Hall of Fame class for 2024 would be Batista, Bray Wyatt, The Midnight Express w/Jim Cornette, Victoria, Rick Martel, Ivan Koloff, Paul Heyman, and The One Man Gang.

Were Demolition and Powers of Pain a ripoff of the Road Warriors?

Yes and no. The painted faces were influenced by Animal and Hawk, but the actual styles and characters, especially once they were established, had their unique styles and methods, and evolved themselves. They were all big men and used power to dominate their opponents, but that’s where the similarities end. They were three different teams and all had great careers and legacies.

Today Tony Khan announced there will be another “NEW” title (Triple Crown title) coming to #AEW. And if they did bring Women’s Tag Team titles later. Do you think AEW is overdoing the titles?

AEW already has AEW, ROH, AAA, NewJapan, and ECW Titles being shown and defended on their shows, so now they want to add one, possibly two more titles. Yes, it’s too many. Just stop already.

What, if anything, do you think WWE could do to bring Jon Moxley back into the promotion?

Nothing because they don’t need him and WWE is far better off without the bloody stench of Moxley on their roster. Moxley has gotten worse, not better, during his time in AEW, and as he is now, he wouldn’t make it past a training center tryout at the Performance Center. WWE should just leave him where he is and forget about him.

Tony Khan is seeking out someone who can fill the new position of Vice President of People and Culture in the company, as per the official AEW Website. Any suggestions? Thoughts?

I was going to suggest Jim Cornette, just for shits and giggles, but in all seriousness, whatever role Tony needs to fill his company in dealing with talent, use Jim Ross. Ross is there already, under contract, and has more experience in dealing with talent and behind-the-scenes business in pro wrestling than almost anyone in the pro wrestling business today. He’s the natural and obvious choice. If Ross declines or doesn’t want the position, just call me Tony. It’s a sacrifice and a dirty job, but I’m willing to talk. Call me.

So, Adam Cole, who’s not cleared to wrestle and can’t team with MJF to defend the ROH Tag Team Titles, is allowed to be the substitute for MJF in a World Championship title defense against Jay White so MJF won’t have to forfeit the title? What the hell? Thoughts?

It’s bad logic and bad booking that makes no sense and can only be called “What the hell?”. It’s a nice little story that can only be called stupid, nonsensible buffoonery at it’s best. MJF is hurt so he can’t wrestle, but Cole, who’s legit hurt and was removed from a title defense earlier on the same show because he can’t wrestle, will be allowed to defend the AEW Championship in MJF’s spot. Sighs It doesn’t get much dumber than this. The only thing that makes less sense is one wrestler drinking the blood of his opponent during a death match. Oh, wait! This is just stupid and that is all the people need to know. Oy vey!

Gunther versus The Ultimate Warrior. Who wins?

The Ring General formerly known as WALTER, would let Warrior blow himself up after five minutes and then chop him down to size. Gunther wins!

Remember the wrestler in WCW, Ice Train? Whatever happened to him?

Ice Train, real name Harold Hogue Sr., retired from professional wrestling not long after WWE bought out WCW in 2001, and I can’t find anything else about him after that. He worked for WCW for nearly ten years, under the names of Ice Train and M.I. Smooth, and then, when that was over, decided to move on from wrestling and hasn’t been seen this.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
