Happy Black Friday. Yes, two editions of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A for the price of one, absolutely free. You’re welcome. And now, are you ready to do this? Let’s roll.

Debra McMichael & Candice Michelle versus Saraya & Toni Storm. Who wins?

Candice was a decent wrestler, as was Toni Storm. Saraya was good before her injury/retirement, but she’s just a shadow of that now. And Debra? She had puppies. This would be an interesting match. I think the WWE Women would win with Candice & Toni having a good match until Saraya tags in and falls victim to a quick pin.

Kevin Nash recently said that Seth “Freakin'” Rollins reminds him of a modern-day Macho Man Randy Savage. Thoughts?

I can see some similarities there in the characters and presentation, but until Nash mentioned it, it wasn’t very obvious, at least not to me. But I can see it now and Nash is right.

Thoughts on the AEW Round-Robin Continental Championship Tournament?

Another tournament of matches that mean nothing, will not get any build or chance to be special and will crown another new champion for a promotion that already has as many titles as it does viewers for a typical episode of Rampage or Collision. I’m not impressed.

Roman Reigns versus The Great Khali. Who wins?

Khali may be big, and by the way, congratulations to Khali and his wife on the recent birth of their first child. Now, as I was saying, Khali may be a big man, but in the end, he would fall victim to the Tribal Chief and be forced to acknowledge Roman as the better wrestler. Roman wins.

On the Full Gear Media Scrum, MJF called the match with Adam Page versus Swerve Strickland, “One of the best death matches in wrestling history.” Do you agree with the champ? Thoughts?

At the Media Scrum, immediately after the PPV, we’re to believe that Max, who wrestled in both the opening match and the main event, had time to sit and watch a match, in its entirety, that happened at a live event in between his two appearances. Max was just saying what he was told to say and kissing up to the boss, trying to put the match over due to the criticism that he knew it would probably be getting. He didn’t watch the match from start to finish and is just talking to be talking. And now that he’s had time to watch the match, and the staple gun to the face and titties, and the drinking of the blood, I wonder if he stands by that comment? I doubt it.

Where is Sammy Guevera? He hasn’t been on AEW TV in like forever.

Sammy is currently out on medical leave after suffering a concussion, plus to be with his wife, Tay Conti, during her pregnancy. Surprisingly, Sammy has not updated his VLOG in nearly a month either, but I’m not sure what the deal is with that. But officially, he’s out with a concussion.

According to Meltzer, Brock Lesnar is scheduled to make a surprise return at the Royal Rumble event. Thoughts?

The Royal Rumble is the official start on the road to Wrestlemania so this makes sense. Brock isn’t needed right now as WWE is on fire, but as they get ready for the biggest event of the year, it’s all hands on deck and time to bring out the big guns, of which Brock would be a big part.

Does Nikita Koloff belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?

For what he accomplished during his brief run in the NWA/WCW and what he’s done with his life I would say an absolute yes to this question, but with an asterisk next to it. Nikita belongs, but his mentor, Ivan Koloff, needs to be inducted first or at least at the same time. Hell, add Krusher Kruschev (Barry Darsow) to the mix and just induct all three together as The Russians. But Ivan has to be part of the picture or it’s just not right.

How would you rank Miss Elizabeth as a manager/wrestler/character? Does she belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?

Liz was a prominent character in the WWE and stands out in her role as the manager/valet of Randy Savage as someone different, special, and unique. I wasn’t a big fan, but even I realize that. I liked her better in WCW where she was more feisty and alongside Woman, made the Horsemen stand out as the complete package as a faction. She was never a great talker or worker, but she was in the right place, at the right time, and played a great role in the history of professional wrestling. As for the WWE Hall of Fame, she should have gone in alongside Randy Savage, but that didn’t happen. Yes, she belongs.

What would have happened if Bret Hart never left WWE and they honored the 20-year contract?

We never would have had “Bret screwed Bret” and the Mr. McMahon character. HBK would have most likely left the company sooner rather than later alongside friends Nash & Hall, and WWE probably wouldn’t have had the Attitude Era, at least not as strongly and early as they did. The Monday Night Wars would have had an entirely different look and feel. That’s for sure.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
