Last night, WWE shocked the world with the return of CM Punk at the Survivor Series. Business is picking up. And keeping in that theme, it’s the second edition for today of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Things are picking up. Let’s roll.

Dax Harwood recently released a list of his Top 10 Tag Teams of all time. He didn’t include The Dudleys, The Usos, or The Young Bucks as part of his list. Bully Ray called him out on the omission and played it like an angle for a possible future match. Thoughts?

Dax made a list of who he considers the greatest tag teams of all time. It’s all opinion and nothing more so who cares if The Dudleyz or The Usos are not listed? They wrestle a different style than what Dax seems to like to see so they didn’t make the list. It’s not a big deal. As for Bubba saying anything, he sees $$$ signs. A match, be it as part of AEW or at an Indy show, between The Dudley Boyz and FTR would make money. All they need is a promoter and a reason for the match to happen. This list provides the reason.

The AEW online show, Being The Elite, is through and finished. Thoughts?

I guess it’s hard to have a show about Being The Elite when The Bucks and Kenny are feuding on TV. Plus, who cares? The Bucks suck and Hangman Page/Kenny Omega aren’t much better. So their YouTube show is over. There are plenty of other shows to watch, some of which are actually entertaining. Good riddance already.

What did Vince McMahon Jr. see in Hulk Hogan to have him go over Iron Shiek for the world championship (despite having no singles matches prior) and make him the face of the company for years to come?

Hogan was big, strong, charismatic, and was part of the movie, Rocky 3. Plus Hogan had already proven that he was majorly over while working for Verne Gagne’s AWA. Vince knew Hulk and saw what he was doing and the reactions that he was getting and made a judgment call. Vince was right.

Does Missy Hyatt belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?

For her days with Eddie Gilbert as part of Hotstuff International, as well as her career in WCW and then ECW, I would say absolutely. She belongs.

Ole Anderson infamously told Mark Callaway, aka The Undertaker, that no one would ever pay to see him wrestle. Thoughts?

Remember that Ole said this to “Mean” Mark Callus and as Mark Callus, Ole was right. “Mean Mark” was big and strong, but aside from that, he didn’t have much going for him. Vince McMahon was the one responsible for reinventing Mean Mark and turning him into The Undertaker. Mean Mark was a mid-card talent at best for life. It took a total transformation into a larger-than-life character to make Mean Mark a star.

Eric Bischoff recently said that Rhonda Rousey was overrated. Agree or disagree?

When she first came in with the hype and strong push, she looked great, but once she had been around for a while and the new smell had worn off, she was just another woman wrestler. She was good in the ring, but only in her kind of match. Compared to wrestlers like Charlotte, Asuka, Becky, or even Rhea, she was bland. Competent, but nothing special. So Eric is right.

CM Punk showed up at Survivor Series and is back in WWE after Meltzer said that there was “literally no chance”. Thoughts?

Meltzer was wrong… as usual. No problem. He does that, a lot.

AEW ran two shows, Collision and Rampage, against WWE Survivor Series. What kind of ratings/numbers do you think those shows did?

I think that as usual these days, the ratings for AEW will suck. I’ll be surprised if either show broke 300,000 viewers. The ratings for all of the AEW shows have been falling fast each and every week and against an event as hyped as The Survivor Series, especially one that featured two War Games Matches, the returns of Randy Orton, CM Punk, and R-Truth, no one with a choice was tuning in to see Tony play with his live-action figure toys and bad booking.

Rate the Survivor Series on a scale of 1-10.

All of the matches were solid and fun to watch. The two War Games matches were damn good, as was Gunther versus Miz. And then factor in the three big returns I mentioned earlier and it was a damn good show. On a scale of 1-10, I’ll give it a solid 8.

Now that CM Punk is back with the WWE, does this mean we’ll see AJ Lee at the Royal Rumble?

I seem to recall Punk saying that AJ has some lagging injuries and can’t wrestle during an interview so with that in mind, I doubt we’ll see her back in the ring for WWE or anywhere else. But then again, it’s the WWE and no one ever thought that we’d see CM Punk back either so never say never, especially for a one-shot appearance. We’ll just have to wait and see.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Questions, comments, and thoughts are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
