I’m on a roll this morning. It’s either this or wash clothes. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s roll.

Road Dog recently said on his podcast that he thinks the Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin. would have been good WWE Superstars. Thoughts?

Alex Shelley for sure. He’s always been a stand-out talent and much like his former TNA peer, AJ Styles, could have some great matches. Sabin? He’s a good wrestler, but I haven’t seen quite as much from him to make him stand out from the crowd, at least not in my opinion. But Road Dogg knows both men and if he says they would be good in the WWE, who am I to argue?

Whatever happened to No Way Jose?

Jose, real name Levis Valenzuela Jr., worked for Impact Wrestling after getting released from the WWE in 2018 and did a few years there before being released in 2021. And since then, who knows? Most everything I’ve found says that he’s still working for various Independent Wrestling companies, but I couldn’t find any listed or noted since 2021. So where is Jose? I can’t tell you. If anyone knows, let me know.

Rate CM Punk’s WWE Raw return promo out of 10.

From what I understand, the promo was supposed to be longer but was cut for a time due to Randy Orton’s earlier segment running over in time. I thought it was a good promo. It wasn’t great, but it hit all the major spots and covered the basics. I’d probably rate it a 7.5.

QT Marshall has given his notice and is leaving AEW. Thoughts?

This is a huge blow to AEW. Since Day 1, QT has been Tony Khan’s right-hand man, handling the formatting of the television, talent relations, and all of the small things that needed to be taken care of. For a comparison, just imagine if Pat Patterson, Bruce Pritchard, and Gerald Brisco had all walked out on Vince McMahon during the Attitude Era. Yes, it is that big a deal. Also, factor in that QT runs the Nightmare Factory, the training facility that he shares with Cody Rhodes, and AEW will be losing that as well. I expect that we’ll end up seeing QT either working at the Performance Center or for NXT very shortly and that will be a great addition for WWE. Tony Khan though has to be upset. This is a huge kick in the balls for AEW.

So the mystery challenge for stalker Shinsuke Nakamura was Cody Rhodes. Thoughts?

The feud with Seth Rollins made Shinsuke important again and now, facing Cody, will be a good way to maintain that relevancy and fill up time as WWE leads up to the Royal Rumble and the build to Wrestlemania. It should be a good and entertaining feud.

From Ryback: “When I return to wrestling my pop will be twice as loud as Fragile Phil’s and it won’t need to be in my hometown to surpass it.” Thoughts?

Ryback is just running the mouth again and trying to pretend that he matters in the big picture of things. Self-delusion is a terrible thing.

Tammy Sytch was sentenced to 17 years in prison, plus 8 years probation for her DWI/Manslaughter charges. Was this enough?

Was it enough? Not in my opinion, but if it keeps her off the streets for 17 years, it’s better than nothing. I expect that the initial sentence will be reduced on appeal, but given her history of probation violations, she still won’t be out and about for a long time to come. I hate to see anyone ruin their life like that, but she had so many second and third chances and just didn’t care. It sucks that a person had to die to finally get her off the streets, but good riddance.

Dixie Carter was backstage at the RAW taping in Nashville. Do you think that the former TNA/Impact Wrestling owner will be joining WWE?

Dixie was just there because WWE was in her hometown of Nashville and she was a guest of Bruce Pritchard. Maybe if the deals with Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis fall through, Dixie can be brought in as a General Manager? No, maybe not. That’s a bad idea. Dixie was just there to visit and say hi, nothing more.

Who are your Top 10 Favorite 90s Wrestlers? (Including the Women)?

Right off the top of my head, I’ll go with Juventud Guerrera, Ivory, Victoria, Stevie Richards, Ric Flair, Brian Pillman, Chris Jericho, La Parka, Goldust, and Disco Inferno.

Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard versus The Russians (Ivan & Nikita Koloff). Who wins?

I don’t know if this match ever happened in Crockett, but both teams were heels so I doubt it. It’d be a fun match to see and I expect that we’d see James J. Dillon, as well as either Krusher Kruschev or Don Kernodle, depending on what period we’re using for the Koloffs, get involved and cause some chaos. I think Arn and Tully would end up taking the victory lap at the end of the night.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
