It’s a “Weird Question” edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’ve always said that nothing is off limits and I think these questions prove it. Let’s roll.
Would you rather go for a Chinese dinner with CM Punk? Or go for some Mexican food with Seth Rollins?
I prefer Chinese over Mexican so CM Punk and the buffet table it is.
Top five in-ring wrestlers all time and top 5 entertainers in wrestling?
Right off the top of my head, the top purely in-ring talents would be William Regal, Jack Brisco, Dory Funk Jr., Lou Thesz, and Billy Robinson. As for entertainers, let’s go with R-Truth, Hornswoggle, Santino Marella, Matt Cardona, and Orange Cassidy.
Should CM Punk challenge for a major title by WrestleMania or have like a solid 6 months to a year “earning” the chance to challenge for one of them?
CM Punk doesn’t need a title and can easily work in top matches against other wrestlers for the next year or so. He’ll get into the title picture when it’s the right time and makes sense and not before.
Bugsy McGraw versus Norman the Lunatic. Who wins?
Both men were “crazy” so it’d be a fun match for sure. I’ll go with Herman E. “Bugsy” McGraw on this one.
Do you think Miro, aka Rusev, regrets leaving WWE and going to AEW?
I doubt it. He’s getting paid and paid well to do nothing but sit at home. Okay, that’s good, but I know some wrestlers like to actually wrestle and work and I suspect that, now that Triple H is in charge of WWE, Miro is probably second-thinking his decision to jump ship. If Vince had remained in charge, it would have made sense to leave, but Triple H would have been far better in his booking of The Russian Brute and his wife/manager. I’m pretty sure that Miro and Lana have the “What if?” discussion quite regularly.
You could pick any wrestler from all time to drop in their prime into the current AEW. Who is it and why?
I’d have Bill Eadie, in his character of The Masked Superstar, come in and totally dominate the entire company.
Best wrestling daddy: Sexual Chocolate, Big Daddy Cool, or Christian Cage?
Vince McMahon. Just look at his relationships with his son Shane, daughter Stephanie, and bastard son Hornswoggle. Definitely the Father of the Year for all to emulate and follow.
You have to book a fatal four-title match for the Mania main event. But you get to select one wrestler from each era in their prime. Hogan era, Attitude era, ruthless aggression, and modern. Who’s in the match and who wins?
In the Hogan Era, it would be the man himself, Hulk Hogan. From the Attitude Era, how about Shawn Michaels? From the Ruthless Aggression Era, we’ll go with Stone Cold Steve Austin. And so far as the Modern Era goes, it’s Brock Lesnar. And Brock would win the match and take that trip to the pay window.
Of the current WWE roster, what Superstars would you like to see be numbers 1 & 2, going on to be the workhorses of this year’s Royal Rumble?
For the Men’s Rumble match, how about a repeat by Gunther, along with Butch, aka Pete Dunne. As for the Women’s Rumble Match, let’s go with Rachel Rodriguez and Kairi Sane.
Who is a cheater you fully support?
As Booker T. often says, if you’re not cheating, you’re not trying. And I remember, I believe it was Roddy Piper, saying, “Win if you can. Lose if you must! But always cheat!”. So what cheaters will I always support? Eddie Guerrero for sure and in the modern day, let’s go with Dom and Mami. Long live the Judgement Day!
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And as the legendary Baron Von Raschke would say, “Dat is all de’ people need to know!”. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
