It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A and that is all the people need to know. Let’s roll.

Who Wins πŸ†: Rhea Ripley Vs Toni Storm?

Toni Storm may be timeless and can pin people when their head is on the mat, but not their shoulders as evidenced on AEW Dynamite last night in her “victory” against Skye Blue, but she’s not Rhea Ripley. If these two were to compete against each other, Storm would find out why Mami is always on top. Rhea wins.

Where is Dexter Lumis? He kept popping up all over the place but now seems to have vanished. Thoughts?

Lumis’s last appearance on WWE television was at NXT on May 2, 2023. And since then, I guess that he’s sitting in catering, eating the chicken salad, and waiting for WWE Creative to come up with something for him to do. Lumis was allegedly supposed to be part of the Wyatt 6 Faction, but those plans were shelved after the unfortunate passing of Bray Wyatt. Lumis is still under contract with WWE as of this writing though.

Masked Superstar versus Vader. Who wins?

Vader was big, strong, and a monster of a man, but The Masked Superstar was a wrestling machine. I’ll go with Superstar for this one.

Where in Jinder Mahal? Would you like to see him back in the WWE title picture?

Jinder is currently a member of the WWE Raw roster and is the leader of the faction, Indus Sher. He hasn’t been used in a while by WWE, but hopefully, that will change soon. I guess he’s sitting in catering, hanging out with Dexter Lumis. I would love to see Jinder back on TV and in the title picture, if not for the World Championship, then at least the Intercontinental Championship and Gunther. Maybe with his real-life friend, Drew McIntyre turning heel, Jinder can be brought in as a partner for Drew. Also, Jinder is in real life, straight edge, so maybe that could be used as a means to align himself with CM Punk. Jinder is too good to be sitting backstage and WWE Creative needs to step up their game and use him for something.

What do you like & dislike about AEW? What do you want to see more of What do you want to see less of?

I’ve answered this question so many times already, almost every day that I write one of these Q&As. I like that it’s an alternative to WWE and gives more of the boys a place to work and make money. I don’t like that there is no obvious structure or direction. I’d like to see more characters and matches with proper build, stories, and reasons for being. I don’t want to see “dream matches” tossed out there with no build or purpose. The fans deserve better and if AEW is ever to grow or improve, they need to step up their game and realize this.

How would you rank Adam Copeland’s AEW run so far?

Copeland showed up and on the first night, the ratings fell. And things haven’t gotten any better. I’m glad to see Copeland and Christian work together, but thus far, this run has been less than good. It kind of sucks to be honest about it. It could be so much better.

Tully Blanchard recently commented in an interview, and Arn Anderson agreed, that during his entire run in AEW, not a single wrestler ever stepped up and asked for advice. Jake Roberts has said that same thing. Thoughts?

The talent isn’t going to people like Arn, Tully, Roberts, etc., and they don’t want to improve or learn about professional wrestling. They’re like so many others in today’s world, Generation Z, that they think they know it all and don’t need advice or help. Flair has said the same thing about AEW and so has Konnan. All of that knowledge is available, but the children would rather play with their friends and continue to be clowns and mediocre play-wrestlers instead. It’s sad to see.

Do you think that Punk will work on any Saudi shows? I know he had commented to Miz years ago when they started the Saudi shows, but I’m wondering if his stance had changed at all or willing to put his personal feelings aside and do business there.

If there is one thing about Punk that is consistent, he tends to be the stubborn sort and stick to his beliefs and opinions. Unless there is major money involved, and I’m talking about Goldberg-style cash, I doubt we’ll see Punk working the Saudi shows. He might change his mind, but I doubt it.

Remember the KISS Demon? Thoughts?

I remember the KISS Demon well. First, it was Brian Adams, but luckily he avoided that character and went on to break necks and cash checks with Bryan Clark as part of Kronik. It’s all about Kronik. Never forget that! Then Dale Torborg got given the role and it was a major flop. It was thinking outside the box that had Eric Bischoff thinking to work a deal with the band KISS, but the whole idea and concept of this character was a flop from Day 1. Torborg was a decent wrestler and from all accounts, a good guy, but in 2000, KISS was not over as a band, their best days behind them, and the rub from the rock icons didn’t draw an audience like WWE hoped or expected. At the time of this, WCW was throwing everything up against the wall and was losing ground against the WWE rather quickly. The idea gets an A for effort, but it just didn’t work.

So picture this. As Vince’s illegitimate son, Hornswoggle shows up in WWE and claims ownership of the company. Triple H responds. Thoughts?

While this idea may have worked a few years ago, it would go over like a wet fart in church these days. I like Hornswoggle and would love to see him back in WWE or NXT for a cameo or one-shot appearance but as the bastard son of Vince McMahon? That ship has long sailed.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. I have places to go and things to do. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
