Welcome to the show. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Are you ready? Let’s roll.

Do you think we could see The Grizzled Young Veterans turn up in AEW, teaming with Pac, and should they be called The Grizzled Bastards as a trio?

We could see it happen, but I don’t think that anyone would want to see it happen. The Grizzled Young Veterans were a solid team for NXT and NXT-UK, but they’re not what I could call “Ready for Prime Time” stars. And teaming with Pac? Is he still even with AEW? I honestly don’t remember. But the Grizzled duo and Pac together? No, I don’t think so.

If you could choose one wrestler to accidentally lock in your house with you, who would it be?

I’m trying to think of how to answer this without sounding like a pervert or total sleaze. Let’s just suffice it to say that I’m a big fan of Juventud Guerrera and he’s always been my hall-pass for the past twenty-five years.

Seeing now with CM Punk back in the fold. What chance do you think Triple H has of getting John Moxley and Chris Jericho to come back even if it’s just for a little bit? In my opinion at this point, he is the great Redeemer and any comeback is possible with him at the helm.

I think that if Triple H decided that he wanted to pursue Jericho and Moxley after their contracts with AEW expire, I agree that he’s probably the man who could do it. I do think that Jericho will eventually return to the family for the Hall of Fame and a Legend’s Deal once he’s free from AEW. I don’t see why anyone would want Moxley back, seeing what he’s turned into as his AEW career has progressed (?), etc. Triple H has shown an ability to swallow his pride and do whatever would be best for the company and WWE as a whole. He truly is the Wrestler-Whisperer.

With everything going on surrounding CM Punk, how would you feel if you were TK?

If I was Tony, I’d feel like an absolute idiot. He “feared for his life” and cut the biggest star his company had, threw away millions of dollars, and has nothing to show for it but some EVPs who are killing his company. Tony was getting his ass whooped by WWE and then he went and handed Triple H a loaded shotgun to finish the job. Tony has to feel stupid. I know that I would be.

WWE and MLW have allegedly settled their Anti-Trust Lawsuit. Thoughts?

I guess WWE and Endeavor decided that it’s just cheaper to pay off Court Bauer and MLW and make him go away than to drag things out. Good for MLW, but I can assure you that if Vince McMahon was still in charge and Attorney Jerry McDevitt had not retired, this case would go on forever before WWE would give in so easily or settle. But that being said, it’s good to see that both companies have put this behind them and moved on.

Free agents as of 12/21: Mustafa Ali, Aliyah, Shelton Benjamin, Rick Boogs, Dana Brooke, Dabbo-Kato, Elias, Quincy Elliot, Yulissa Leon, Mace, Mansoor, Riddick Moss, Matt Riddle, Shanky, Top Dolla and Dolph Ziggler. How many do you think will end up in AEW? TNA? Obscurity?

I think Mustafa Ali, Shelton Benjamin, Dana Brooke, and Dolph will all end up in AEW. I would like to see Riddick Moss there as well, but I just don’t think it will happen. Maybe TNA for him, along with Elias. Mace & Mansoor are already taking Indy dates. And the rest? Obscurity be thy name.

Do the Mulkey Brothers belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?

As much as I like Bill & Randy Mulkey, the WWE Hall of Fame is not in their future, nor should it be. They were a fun tag team, but top guys? No, I don’t think so.

Jimmy Snuka versus Abdullah the Butcher. Who wins?

If this is a usual match, there would be either a DQ finish or a no-contest ending. Snuka would go over as the face and be the winner, regardless of how the finish was scheduled.

Would you like to see Tony Khan step into the ring and perform as a wrestler (aka Vince, Bischoff, Vince Russo, Bill Watts, Cornette, etc)?

I would love to see it happen, but considering that Tony is a skinny little nerd and that he “feared for his life” when CM Punk was beating up Jungle Boy, I can’t see it ever happening. It’d be fun, but Tony would crap himself if he had to take a bump.

WWE referred to Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits as “Dem Boyz!”. Mark Briscoe wasn’t happy. Thoughts?

I don’t blame Mark for being upset, but considering that there are rap groups that use that nickname, as well as The Dallas Cowboys, I doubt that it was an intentional slam by WWE. Mark got pissed and reacted with some comments on Social Media, but then later went back and retracted his statement, saying to calm down and it’s not a big deal. It’s just a mistake by some bottom-of-the-barrel WWE WWE employee who probably has never heard of The Briscoes, but is a diehard Cowboy fan and thought it would be a good way to get Lashley and The Street Profits over. An error and nothing more.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
