It’s the only wrestling Q&A that matters, the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. So are you ready to do this? Let’s roll.

So AEW had The Von Erichs live in Dallas, TX, on AEW Dynamite and they used them for a comedy promo with Danhausen. What the hell?

In all fairness, they also had the Von Erichs wrestle a six-man tag match for Rampage, as well as work a match on the ROH PPV Saturday night so they didn’t totally waste the presence of WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Von Erich and his two sons. But to say that AEW didn’t get all they could out of the opportunity and it was a letdown, I think that’s safe to say.

What’s your honest opinion on The Steiner Brothers?

Two very tough men and one of the greatest tag teams of all time. I was never a big fan of Rick and Scott, but they were solid performers and two legit badass dudes. I was more of a fan of Scott when he changed into the Big Poppa Pump character later in his career. I have a lot of respect for those guys and what they accomplished.

You are an executive making roster cuts at AEW. There are five people you are cutting. Who are they? Reasons are optional.

If I could make the cuts, I’d start with The Young Bucks and Hangman Page. Their childish behavior has hurt AEW far more than anything else over the past couple of years, plus let’s be honest. When the Bucks are on TV, the ratings drop. So that’s three. Jack Perry for the whole “Cry Me a River” stunt in London. If Punk was fired, Perry should have been as well. That’s four. And finally, Danhausen because what exactly does he do? Is he a wrestler? A manager? He walks around and curses people. It was cute for a while, but if that’s all he has to offer AEW, they don’t need him.

You are an executive making roster cuts at WWE. There are five people you are cutting. Who are they? Reasons are optional.

Tamina Snuka is the first one. I like Tamina personally, but she’s not good in the ring and hasn’t gotten better in all the years she’s been there. Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde of the LWO would probably be gone as well. They’ve rarely used despite the LWO alliance with Rey Mysterio and while both men are talented, they’re kind of lost in the shuffle at WWE. Cedric Alexander would get the boot and I guess Apollo Crews to round things out. They’re good workers, but they’re not being used and are just taking up space.

Where is Vickie Guerrero? Would you like to see her return to WWE?

The last I heard of Vickie, she had just left AEW and was having some kind of dispute with her daughter, who claimed that Vickie’s husband, her stepfather, tried to molest her. It blew up online for a while and I haven’t heard anything else since. I’m assuming that she’s dealing with issues and is out of the business for now. I’m sure that at some point, she’ll be back though. She was too good at getting heat to stay away for long.

What if Marty Jannetty turned heel and super-kicked Shawn Michaels through the barber shop window instead? Could Marty have accomplished all that Shawn did…. had he got the big push?

I don’t think Marty would have done nearly as well as Shawn ended up doing. Shawn had his issues for sure, but Marty and his demons were and are too wild. I think he would have ended up self-destructing sooner rather than later and wouldn’t have lasted very long in a top spot.

So what pro wrestling move did you try on a friend/family member as a kid that turned into an awesome memory you still talk about?

My friends and I, we tried them all. Suplexes, DDTs, the figure four leglock, and the Cobra Clutch. My friend, Jim, still talks about the picture-perfect DDT that I nailed him with and he landed directly on his head. He claims that I made him two inches shorter with that move. He got payback a few days later with the Camel Clutch. My back still hurts when I think about it.

The Usos vs Harlem Heat. Who wins?

Both teams are in their prime, this would be an incredible match. The Usos are awesome but rely too much on the superkicks. I think Booker and Stevie would take this one after Sister Sherri gets involved and rakes Jimmy across the face. Now can you dig that, sucka!

Thoughts on Lacey Evans? Would you like to see her come back to WWE and professional wrestling?

I liked the Sassy Southern Belle gimmick and thought that Lacey was a good character, but she never seemed to connect with the fans in WWE. She gave a great interview with Chris Van Vliet a few weeks ago and I gained a lot of respect for her from hearing her side of things. She’s a very smart and talented young woman. I wouldn’t mind seeing her back in professional wrestling and I expect that eventually, she’ll come back. She admitted that wrestling was not her passion, but she was good at it and once you’ve been a part of that world, it’s hard to truly ever say good-bye. She would be great at TNA or with AEW and their limited schedule.

Chyna versus Tamina Snuka. Who wins?

Chyna was a groundbreaker and Tamina is limited in her in-ring skills, but this could be a solid and fun match. Tamina can match Chyna for size and power and is probably a better in-ring performer. Chyna is a better showman and has the hype and character. Chyna would win just to keep the promoter and fans happy.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to share, like, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the Concession Stand Brawl.
