Thoughts on where Julia Hart goes from here?

Hell, where is she now? I think she’s been getting a semi-push in AEW as of late, but considering that she’s in AEW and nothing seems to last for more than a few weeks, I expect she’ll get a big match at the PPV at the end of the month and then get injured and vanish for the next six months. Or hell, it’s AEW so who needs an injury? She’ll work a few matches and then vanish into wrestling limbo until someone remembers that she’s on the roster and Toni Storm or Saraya needs an opponent.

What do you reckon WWE’s long-term plan is for LA Knight now? Mid-card title or eventually challenge for the WWE Championship again?

LA Knight seems to have lost a little momentum with the returns of Randy Orton and CM Punk, but I think he’s in a safe place near the top of the WWE roster. Triple H is known for long-term storylines and the feud with LA Knight and Roman Reigns and the Bloodline isn’t over. I don’t see LA Knight winning the World or Universal Championship anytime soon, but I do think there may be gold in his future, maybe against Logan Paul and going after that U.S. title.

What’s your favorite version of the NWO?

My favorite version was the Wolfpac, with Nash, Luger, Sting, Konnan, and, for a cup of coffee, Disco Inferno. Wolfpac in the house!

Top 3 wrestlers of the year?

For me, it’s Rhea Ripley, Dom Mysterio, and all of the chaos and craziness associated with his name all year leading up to that big return, CM Punk.

Are you going to see Iron Claw?

If it comes to the local theatre here in Laurinburg, NC, I will make plans and go see it. If it’s not here, I’ll wait until it’s online or I can find an online showing. But yes, I am going to see it.

If you were booking the current Devil angle in AEW, who would you pick as the man behind the mask?

I’m thinking that most likely, it will be Mr. Cry Me A River, Jack Perry, as he’s the most logical choice not named Adam Cole. Cole has legit injuries or so we’ve been led to believe, so he’s out of the picture as well. But if I was the man doing the booking and could choose who the Devil would be, I’d go with Disco Inferno. Hell, with the recent Tony Khan/Disco confrontations on Twitter, just imagine the big pop and reaction. It’s obvious that AEW hasn’t thought this angle out and hasn’t got a clue. It’s like the Black Scorpion angle from WCW, but all coked up. Disco is as good as any other option. Or I just thought of this. How about the Devil being Enzo Amore? That would be awesome. And you can’t teach that. That would truly not be SAWFT at all.

Do you think Chris Benoit will ever be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame?

No, and he never should be. As good as a wrestler as he was, the way his career and life ended supersedes all of that. Benoit will never be in the WWE or any other wrestling Hall of Fame. Never!

Who is your current favorite wrestler in WWE? In AEW? In TNA? On the Indies?

My current favorites are as follows. For WWE, it’s Dom Mysterio. In AEW, it’s Jake Hager. At TNA, it’s Alan Angels, and for the Indy scene, it’s a talented young man named Mr. Sammy Love.

Do you think we’ll see Bayley win the Royal Rumble and win the championship at WrestleMania or not win the Royal Rumble and be kicked out of Damage CTRL thus turning face?

Of these two options, I think the latter option, of Bayley falling short in her goal of winning the Rumble, thus getting kicked out of Damage CTRL, is the most likely. Then we get a babyface Bayley challenging Iyo at Mania or having a grudge match with a partner to be named against The Kabuki Warriors. Maybe this could be the return match for Sasha Banks since the long friendship of Bayley and Sasha is well known. Hell, Bayley went to Japan to watch Sasha wrestle for New Japan so coming in for a tag match as Bayley’s partner is the least she can do.

Yes or no. Is R-Truth a member of The Judgement Day?

I kind of see Truth as the Sami Zayn of the Judgement Day, acting as Sami did in the early days of his run with The Bloodline. Truth doesn’t fit as part of the group, but he adds to the faction and I can see him slowly growing on the rest of the group, except for JD McDonagh, of course. He’s not a member as of yet, but eventually, he’ll be wearing the t-shirt of the honorary member. Look at the entire storyline of Sami and the Bloodline. Now wash, rinse, and repeat, but use Truth and The Judgment Day instead. Believe that!
