It’s another edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Consider this an early Christmas present because I do it all for you. Believe that! So are you ready? Let’s roll.

So how about this? Build Punk vs Roman for Summerslam and Punk can say “I found a NEW Wise Man” and have Corny come out. Triple H should get on the phone and bring in Jim Cornette to manage CM Punk. Thoughts?

I like this idea and it would be a cool moment, but I don’t think it could ever come together and work. To happen at Summerslam, that would mean that Roman would have to retain at Mania and then hold it for six months later. The other problem is that Cornette wouldn’t leave his house long enough to travel and work a major spot anymore. Maybe if the match was booked for a one-shot in Louisville, KY, or Cincinnati, OH, then Triple H could open the checkbook and convince Cornette to show up, but other than that. But I can imagine the pop if CM Punk brought out Cornette as his manager for a match against Roman and Heyman. The internet would blow up and heads would explode all across the world. It would be awesome.

Dennis Rodman (of the nWo) versus Logan Paul versus David Arquette versus Bad Bunny in a Fatal 4-Way. Who wins?

There would be no winner because Kevin Federline and the crew from Jackass would storm the ring with steel chairs and take out everyone, thus leading to a no-contest. That’s why he was America’s Most Hated lol.

If you were to start a Pro Wrestling Manager Hall of Fame, who would be your first Six Inductees?

The obvious choices would be Bobby Heenan and Jim Cornette as the first two. Then I’d follow up with James J. Dillon, Gary Hart, Sir Oliver Humperdink, and Woman.

I saw Perry Saturn trending and got scared for a minute. Thoughts on Perry Saturn?

Saturn was a tough guy and a decent wrestler, but to be honest, I really don’t have any thoughts on him. I remember seeing him wrestle in WCW and the WWE, but aside from being there, he didn’t leave much of an impression on me. I have more memories of Moppy than any matches that Saturn had. I wouldn’t want to cross him, but he’s not especially memorable in my opinion.

Since it looks as if CM Punk versus Steve Austin at Mania may be off the table for now, who would you like to see Austin come back to WWE to wrestle?

If we can’t get CM Punk versus Steve Austin, then how about Steve Austin versus The Miz? Did we ever see that one happen? Maybe Steve Austin versus Lexi King, just for the backstory and history with Austin and King’s father, Brian Pillman. That could be fun to see.

Matt Riddle is now part of MLW. Thoughts?

He has to wrestle somewhere and I guess MLW is as good as anywhere else. It gives Matt a steady job and paycheck while he figures out what he wants to do next. Good for him.

Sasha Banks is allegedly asking for Charlotte Flair-level money to come back to WWE. Should WWE take the bait and bring her back or just let her go as an option?

Honestly, I don’t think she’s worth the trouble. Sasha is a good wrestler and it would be good to see her back in WWE, but her exit and the matches that she had afterward did nothing to increase her credibility and worth to WWE. WWE should make an offer and if she takes it, then fine. Sign her up. And if she declines or wants to play hardball, then tell her adios and let her walk.

According to Vince Russo, Sami Zayn is “not worthy of being on the show” regarding his WWE career. Thoughts?

I think the fans, the merchandise sales, and the pop he tends to get would disagree with Russo in terms of Sami Zayn. Sami is good in the ring and good on the mic, and the fans love him.

With the success of the Iron Claw movie, are there any other wrestlers/families that you think would make for a good movie? If so, who and why?

The Hart Family and the stories of Stu, Bret, Owen, and the rest would make for a good movie with the same basic theme as the Von Erich movie.
A movie about Bruiser Brody and his career and untimely death would work as a movie too.

The Usos versus The Motor City Machine Guns. Who wins?

The MCMGs are a damn good team, but the Usos are one of those teams that consistently take it to the next level. The Usos, Jimmy & Jey, would win.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
