I survived the holidays and I hope that all of you did as well. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s roll.

So, the Devil is James Storm, right? Thoughts?

Storm is a good wrestler and great character and truthfully, I would pop if The Cowboy did turn out to be the Devil and made his AEW debut. But that being said, I don’t think it’s James Storm. It would be awesome if it was, but in regards to this, sorry about our damn luck. It isn’t happening.

Harley Race & Bruno Sammartino versus Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns. Who wins?

When the weakest person in the match is the Living Legend, Bruno Sammartino, you have to know that this would be a damn good match. Bruno is the power guy while Harley and Roman are both more methodical in their styles and Seth, he’s just damn good. It’s a tough call, but I think Roman and Seth would end up getting the win in this one.

Did you see the tweets with Chris Jericho, Stephen P. New, and Jim Cornette early Christmas morning? Thoughts?

Yes, I saw them. And it has me wondering just how much of the Bubbly Jericho had drunk the night before because he comes across as a hypocritical idiot at best, and just a complete jackass beyond that. Stephen P. New made a blanket statement about NDAs that had nothing to do with Jericho in the slightest, yet Jericho felt compelled to say that he was there for the entire Brawl Out incident with The Elite and CM Punk and he’s never signed a NDA in his life. New told him to check the employee handbook and Jericho started claiming he’s never read or seen an employee handbook and New needs to learn his job and check his facts. Then Corny slapped Jericho down with a charming remark about Jericho needing to take Tony Khan’s dick out of his mouth, while Brian Last presented a copy of the AEW Employee’s Guide that Jericho claimed doesn’t exist. Just chaos and confusion on Christmas morning and Jericho looks like a stupid idiot as a result. I can’t wait to hear Corny’s podcast address this incident. It’s going to be good.

William Regal and WWE announced that NXT Talent Charlie Dempsey, who just happens to be Regal’s son, will be competing for All Japan Pro Wrestling in January to compete for the AJPW Triple Crown Championship. Thoughts?

It looks as if WWE is opening their own Forbidden Door. First, Shinsuke Nakamura went to Japan to face The Great Muta on Muta’s retirement tour, and now William Regal’s son, Dempsey, will be going to Japan to represent NXT and the WWE while challenging for the All Japan Triple Crown Championship. William Regal must be very proud. Also, just think of the doors for potential dream matches and talent swaps that this may end up with for WWE. This is a big event and big news for the WWE and the future, an example of what might be to come. I’m excited.

Why did Kerry Von Erich get the match against Ric Flair for the NWA Championship, taking David’s place after his passing, instead of Kevin? As the older brother, it seems to me that Kevin should have gotten the match and title, not Kerry. Thoughts?

I understand why you’d choose Kevin and in a perfect world, so would I, but Kerry was hot at the time and the most marketable of the surviving Von Erich brothers. Kerry had the better look and more charisma and Fritz, as he often did, made the decision based on what would be best for business in the World Class area and make the most money. Between Kevin and Kerry, that would be Kerry.

Was Santa With Muscles the worst Hulk Hogan movie ever or can you think of one that was worse?

Honestly, I try to avoid all Hulk Hogan movies and can’t really say that I’ve ever seen one that didn’t suck. Santa With Muscles was pretty damn bad. Was it the worst? I don’t know, but I’ll take your word for it.

As a Christmas Present, Tony Khan has told you that you can book any team you want, so long as they’re not under contract to WWE, to challenge Ricky Starks & Big Bill for the AEW Tag Team Championship titles on next week’s Dynamite. Who are you bringing in?

If I had a time machine, I’d go back and get the team of The Main Attraction, Chris Steele & Scott Powers. This mainstay team of the NC Independent Scene was so damn good for so long, I’d match them up against anyone. But both men have now moved on from the business as time, age, and real life have had their impact. So my next options? Two talented young men from the local Atlantic Coast Wrestling/Coastal Atlantic Grappling Entertainment Promotions. They’re both up-and-coming stars on the NC Independent Scene and while they spend more time as opponents than partners, I think they’d make one hell of a good time and I’d love to see them get an opportunity in one of the larger promotions. I’m talking about Nathan Cross & Sammy Love.

Why was Bobby Eaton never a singles wrestling champion? The man was so good in the ring, why didn’t he win any singles titles in NWA/WCW?

Bobby Eaton was the NWA/WCW World Television Champion from May 19, 1991, when he defeated Arn Anderson until June 3, 1991, when he lost the title to Steve Austin. So he wasn’t a singles champion for long, but he did wear WCW singles championship gold. And yes, I agree that he deserved better. I think his lack of promo skills hurt his chances as Bobby was not a talker. A great wrestler, yes, but when it came to cutting a promo, not so much.

Bobby Eaton versus Claudio Castagnoli? Who wins?

This match would be epic. If they wrestled five times, I think we’d get four time-limit draws and in the last match, Claudio would squeak out the win, but just barely.

Who would be on your Mt. Rushmore of Heels? How about Baby Faces?

For the heels, right off the top of my head, I’d go with Mr. McMahon, Roddy Piper, Ole Anderson, and The Fabulous Moolah. As for the Baby Faces, let’s go with Rick Steamboat, Bruno Sammartino, Dusty Rhodes, and The Boogie Woogie Man, Jimmy Valiant.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
