It’s the PM edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s roll.

If they said take one WWE woman to the Movies 🎥 Who would you take?

Who are these “They” you speak of and why would they care who I take to the movies? I’d probably take Rhea Ripley, aka Mami with me. Based on what I’ve seen during her interviews and appearances, I think we’d get along well and have fun. And yes, Dom can come too.

Name A Wrestler You Would Invite At Your House For a Christmas Dinner.

Probably Heath Slater and Hornswoggle. They both remind me of some old friends I once had and seem like they’d be fun to hang out with for a while. And I’d even cook extra for Heath. He has kids.

Who Will break out for each Company in 2024??? This is WWE, AEW, Impact, ROH and even AJPW?

For WWE, I think Grayson Waller will have a great year. For AEW, how about Swerve Strickland? For TNA/Impact, I’ll say Alan Angels. For ROH, I’ll go with Daniel Garcia, while for New Japan, William Regal’s son, Charlie Dempsey.

With his WWE contract up in 2024, Tony Khan’s biggest priority to save AEW’s television rights deal is to sign Seth Rollins to the biggest contract in AEW! Nothing else! Put AEW on the back of Seth and make him the face of the company! What do you think? Do you think Tony can lure him over there?

I think Seth is loyal to WWE and will stay there for so long as he’s healthy and they’ll have him. Tony may have the money, but Seth has seen what a trainwreck AEW is and has spoken to Cody & CM Punk, so he knows firsthand what he would have to expect if he made the transaction. Seth isn’t going anywhere.

What are your thoughts on the legendary Fritz Von Erich?

A decent wrestler. A good promoter. A lousy father.

Let’s talk about the legendary Terry Funk. Where do you rank him as one of the best wrestlers of all time?

Terry Funk was never one of my personal favorites, but the man was always exciting to watch, good on a promo and would do anything necessary to take a match to the next level and make sure the fans went home happy. He did grow on me during his run in WWE as Chainsaw Charlie and then in WCW as part of the Old Age Outlaws. That match with Flair, the “I Quit Match” on the Clash of Champions was one of the best matches of that era of pro wrestling. There was only one Terry Funk and he’s arguably one of the best pro wrestling has to offer.

Tamina Snuka recently officially announced that her time in the ring has come to an end and she’s retiring from active competition. Thoughts?

I saw this on one website, but there is nothing official on the WWE site, Tamina’s Twitter/X account, or any legitimate wrestling site that I can see. Maybe it’s true, but until I see an actual notice from her or a reputable site that actually reports facts and not just rumors or innuendo, I’ll take this with a grain of salt. Tamina isn’t the best in-ring performer to be sure, but she’s a good character, is well-liked by almost everyone in WWE, and is part of The Rock’s family. I don’t think she’s going anywhere anytime soon.

Danhausen versus Lou Thesz. Who wins?

Thesz had a reputation as a legit hooker and was still occasionally taking matches while in his seventies. Danhausen is a comedy act and while he occasionally has matches, his biggest gimmick is that he curses people. Thesz would wipe the mat with Danhausen and that would be very evil & very nice.

I first saw The Botswana Beast and I thought he was a cheap knockoff of Kamala. Did you think that?

The man wrestled for a while under the name of Kamala II. It’s like a promoter went to WISH to order a Ugandan Giant and the Beast was what they ended up with. Yes, he was a blatant ripoff and little more.

Chris Jericho recently stated that he doesn’t want to work with Adam Copeland or Christian Cage while in AEW. Thoughts?

Jericho’s reason was that he’d been there and done that and already wrestled both men hundreds of times. I can see and understand that. Why have strong matches against a top star when one can fight younger, inexperienced talents who can put him over, no questions asked, as he feeds off their youth and destroys their vibe? No, I can’t fault him for that.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
