It’s yet another edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Yes, I’m cleaning out my closet. Are you ready? Let’s roll.

According to Road Dogg, he was a “Better sports entertainer than MJF”. Thoughts?

Who am I to disagree? MJF is a star on the rise and does an excellent job of cutting promos and telling a story when he has someone to work with and play off of. Road Dogg wasn’t the best wrestler, but when he got on the microphone, he controlled the crowd and had them in their hands. MJF is on his way, but if you don’t think that Road Dogg is the more entertaining person as a character, you’d better call somebody.

Former WWE talent Rick Boogs says that he has no plans to return to professional wrestling. Thoughts?

I hated to hear this because he’s such an entertaining person. I saw the interview with Chris Von Vliet and his personality is so strong and outgoing, it’s hard to see how WWE couldn’t find a way to use him and feature him better. I don’t think his wrestling career is over because in pro wrestling, never say never, but whatever he decides to do, he’ll excel at it. I liked him on WWE, but with that interview, I became a fan. Boogs would do well in Hollywood and I hope he finds his niche. He’s a cool dude.

Deonna Purrazzo is All-Elite. Thoughts?

I’m happy for her and this move makes sense. She’s already had two different runs in WWE/NXT so I’m not surprised that she decided to go with AEW instead. It’s a new company and a new beginning, and probably more money overall. She’ll do well until Tony gets bored and forgets about her and goes back to his old toys instead. Best of luck to her.

Nic Nemeth, aka Dolph Ziggler, made a big debut in New Japan. Thoughts?

New Japan is probably a great fit for the former Dolph Ziggler. A limited schedule, plus plenty of time to do the comedy shows and the occasional acting role. Good move by Ziggler and the story continues.

AEW has no wrestlers who represent the USA colors or flag. Who could pull off the patriotic gimmick?

The first name that came to mind in AEW that I think could pull off the All-American look and character would be Action Andretti. He’s got the blonde hair and pure babyface look about him and could pull off the Howdy Doody look and gimmick quite well.

Bruiser Brody vs Stan Hansen. Who do you think would win, both in their prime?

It would be one hell of a brawl, but I think that in most places, Brody would be considered the bigger star and would probably be the one to go over.

Who should win the Women’s Royal Rumble?

Normally, I would say Asuka and I would not be upset in the slightest if the Empress of Tomorrow did win the Rumble, but I don’t think that will be happening. Let’s go with Bianca Belair to win and go to wrestle either Iyo Sky or Rhea at Wrestlemania.

One Man Gang versus Tyrus. Who wins?

I’m a big fan of both men and would be happy for either man to take that victory lap at the end. I think I’d go with One Man Gang for this one.

Imagine this Faction maybe down the road. MJF, Austin Theory, and Grayson Waller.

It’s an interesting combination, but it would work. I’d add Angel Garza to the mix and you’d have one hell of a faction. MJF is the leader, Waller is the power guy, and Theory & Garza is the tag team. I could see a big future with this group. Maybe one day it will happen. We can only hope.

Thoughts on the “Loose Cannon” Brian Pillman?

Brian Pillman was one of the most talented and exciting wrestlers of his era. I remember him first coming out as a Cruiserweight and he had this special air about him. He stood out from the crowd even though he didn’t get the big push. And then he went on to do the tag team with Steve Austin and started to shine as a heel. From there, it was the partnership with Flair and Arn as they reformed The Horsemen. And finally, the Loose Cannon. He set the bar so high with that character and had everyone fooled. I was a huge fan and always will be.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
