It’s late at night and I have wrestling on my mind. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s roll.

Does Triple H have a “2 for 1” formula going with surprises? At Survivor Series, we got Randy’s return followed by Punk’s return. And at Day 1, we got Jinder’s return (joke) followed by The Rock’s return. Do you see him continuing this pattern?

And don’t forget that on Smackdown, he had The Aurors of Pain AND Paul Ellering. Okay, that’s three returns so I guess that breaks the cycle. Oops! Triple H just likes to make things interesting and surprise the fans every so often. Nothing wrong with that.

Assuming Swerve beats Samoa Joe at the next PPV for the World Championship, who should be Swerve’s first opponent as champion?

If Swerve does manage to capture the AEW title from Samoa Joe, then I would suggest that, after Joe gets his rematch, Wardlow is the next man to step up and get a title shot.

Assuming that Punk wins the Rumble to chase after the WHC, do you put Cody + The Bloodline [Jimmy & Solo] into the Chamber for a shot at Roman? – Heck, throw Jey and Sami in there + one other. To add to The Story, of course.

Cody, the three family members of Roman, Sami, and maybe Drew to round things out. Works for me.

What do you think about Orton pinning AJ for the title whilst Roman is brawling with the Rock which would set up Orton vs Cody for the title at Mania and give us Rock vs Roman? Cody would have a better “ending” to his story with Orton.

This sounds good to me. It frees up the Undisputed Championship for a match with Cody and Randy, as you said, plus allows Roman to fight The Rock, before going back after the belt “he never lost!”. Book it, Triple H.

Which 3 wrestlers, in chronological order, would you want to win the AEW world title? Example: who wins it off Joe, who wins it off that person, etc.

Who wins it off, Joe? I’ll say Swerve, who then loses it to Wardlow. Wardlow loses it to Adam Copeland, who on his day of retirement, loses it to MJF. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Considering the storyline between Judgment Day and R-Truth is working well, how would you continue booking this one till the end?

Just look at the Bloodline story and have Judgment Day accept R-Truth as a kind of mascot/honorary member. He works for the group but gets handed the blame when something goes wrong. And let it build, with Finn & maybe Mami kind of liking Truth, Dom & JD not happy with him, and Damian somewhere in the middle. And then, after a slow build, eventually Judgment Day turns on Truth and gives him the big beatdown. He comes back after a few weeks of recovery for revenge and wins in singles matches against each member of the Faction before finally climaxing at a PPV where Truth & some friends fight Judgment Day in a big multi-man main event.

As of late, I have seen Andrade put himself over as a superstar in AEW and CMLL. However, he needs a manager to complement him. Should he be paired with Charlotte if he were to go back to WWE, and have a super couple gimmick?

When Andrade goes back to WWE, I would have the marriage between Andrade and Charlotte acknowledged, much like Becky & Seth’s marriage is, but I wouldn’t have them together on TV. I agree that Andrade works better with a manager, so why not MVP? Or Robert Stone from NXT? Former manager Zelina Vega is also available if necessary. I don’t see Andrade and Charlotte’s roles crossing over very much so keep them apart, but they can be brought together for special situations and stories.

With Knight, Styles, and Orton all competing for the Undisputed Championship, do you see any of them being in the Royal Rumble match itself? I’m hoping we see some confrontation between Knight and Gunther to set up a Mania match.

I’m hoping that since the men you mentioned, as well as Logan Paul and Kevin Owens who also have a match, have other priorities at the Royal Rumble event, they won’t be involved at all in the actual Rumble match. If Knight and Gunther are to be, they can have a backstage encounter or confrontation on RAW or Smackdown. Let the Rumble match be for everyone who isn’t already challenging for or defending a title.

Who is your dream WrestleMania main event opponent for the best wrestler in the company, R-Truth?

I’d have R-Truth and partner Miz, the Awesome Truth, pull a KO and Sami and challenge The Judgment Day, Finn Balor & Damian Priest, for the Undisputed Tag Team Titles. And most importantly, win.

If Gunther is still Intercontinental Champ for Mania, what do you think of having Dragunov debut in the Rumble and eliminate him to get a title shot at Mania? Maybe have him fight through Imperium between Rumble and Mania?

I think the plans for Mania are for Gunther and Brock Lesnar to face off, but I would not say no in the slightest to a series of matches between Gunther and Ilya Dragonuv. These two men have great chemistry and work so well against each other. I’d probably wait though until after Mania and build a program with these two leading up to SummerSlam. Let Ilya do his thing in NXT while Gunther further cements his role as the IC Champion and deals with Brock instead.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
