Never forget, it’s your duty to shake your booty. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A and we never stop dancing. You have questions and I have the answers. Let’s roll.

How can AEW make its various titles feel important and distinctive?

That’s a tough question because there are so many different titles under the AEW/ROH umbrella, they all kind of blur together and it’s hard to distinguish between the different champions and belts. The usual method would be strong champions, lots of TV time, and strong matches for that champion, and putting over each defense and appearance by the champion and their title as a big deal that means something. That being said, AEW is such a mess, I doubt that even Tony Khan could name all the titles and who holds what belt without using notes. I doubt the traditional methods of building championships would work there. I honestly don’t know how to answer this one.

When Damage CTRL finally turns on Bayley could we see a returning Meiko Satomura revealed as the architect of the hostile takeover of the faction?

Who is Meiko Satomura? That names not ringing a bell and I don’t know who she is, I doubt the average WWE fan would either. And if no one can identify or knows a wrestler, what’s the point? It’s not her. Okay, I looked her up and she’s currently on the NXT roster after having a good run with NXT-UK. So she’s actually a possibility to get involved in the potential Bayley/Damage CTRL story. I still don’t think it’s her though.

When Bron Breakker eventually debuts, which brand would he be best suited to?

Whichever brand Triple H and the rest of the WWE Creative Team feel that he would work better on with the mix of talents and potential for good matches and stories. I would say Smackdown myself, but I think Bron would work well on both brands.

What’s your favorite “big meaty men slapping meat” match?

Well, I saw this video on PornHub the other day, and… oops! My bad! That’s the wrong kind of meaty men slapping meat. So far as wrestling goes, anytime Gunther gets in the ring with Sheamus or Drew McIntyre, it instantly becomes a must-see match for me.

Should there be a Women’s Division Continental Classic?

No, I don’t think so. Another tournament and another title? That’s just what AEW doesn’t need.

Do you think MJF could be a one-off in the Rumble signaling a slight deal between AEW and WWE?

That would require Tony Khan and Triple H working together and I just don’t see that happening. If MJF does show up at the Royal Rumble, it means that he was telling the truth about his contract expiring and decided to jump ship to the WWE. WWE and AEW working together to co-promote an event or share a talent? No, I don’t think so.

What is the opinion of Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux joining Paul Ellering and the Authors of Pain as a faction? I see them as a modern-era version of the original Legion of Doom from Championship Wrestling from Florida.

A slight correction. Paul Ellering’s original Legion of Doom, which had The Road Warriors, King Kong Bundy, and The Spoiler, was Georgia Championship Wrestling and not Florida. But it’s still a good comparison and I see it myself. A strong unit with a dominating tag team, a good singles wrestler, and a strong woman wrestler, all under the auspices of Precious Paul Ellering. It sounds good to me.

Why did Sammy Guevera get mad at Don Callis for putting his daughter in a painting and using her as part of their angle when he’s wearing a vest that says Luna’s Dad on the back? Kind of hypocritical, don’t you think?

Not to mention, both Sammy and his wife, Tay Conti, have been posting pictures of young Luna all over the internet and have not shied from talking about her in interviews and to the world of social media. So yes, it’s kind of hypocritical, but that whole segment was a confusing trainwreck, to be honest. This whole “painting” deal doesn’t make sense and defies logic when Callis has paintings in the ring for people he doesn’t think will show up or be there, but acts surprised when they do. None of it makes much sense to me.

Hook or Dom Mysterio. Who is going to be top star in 5 years?

Dom is already a top star, with the best fan reactions and a prominent spot on WWE shows and events. Hook is stale and is pretty much the same character he was two years ago with no growth or changes in his character. I think this answer is pretty obvious. It’s Dom all the way.

Which wrestler, when you saw him the first time, scared you the most?

The easy answer here. I was either four or five years old in Raleigh, NC, at the old Dorton Arena, and we were at the wrestling matches. And here comes Brute Bernard. And my young self, I got scared and cried. He’s the only wrestler that ever made me cry and I’ve met/seen hundreds, probably thousands, over the past fifty-plus years. I met him many years later and he was a cool dude. But little me didn’t like him at all.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up, Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches. I’m Doug and that is all the people need to know.
