Coming up on January 13, it’s the latest PPV from the National Wrestling Alliance, NWA Paranoia. And so, that means it’s prediction time. Let’s roll.

NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship Death Match: EC3 vs. Matt Cardona.

It’s the Indy God, the King of the Deathmatches against the man who controls his narrative, and it’s for the legendary ten pounds of gold. This should be a damn good match. I don’t much care about the NWA Championship being decided in a garbage match, but it is what it is and times have changed. I have a feeling in my gut that we’ll see Matt Cardona make a surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble, but he could bring the NWA World Championship with him, right? This will be chaotic, crazy, and madness at its best. I’m calling for a new champion as Matt begins his second reign as the NWA World Champion.

Winner and NEW NWA World Champion: Matt Cardona

NWA Women’s Championship Match: Kenzie Paige vs. Tiffany Nieves.

Paige hasn’t been the champion for long and it’s too early to switch the championship again. Tiffany Nieves will give her a good fight, but the belt is staying right where it’s at.

Winner and STILL NWA Women’s Champion: Kenzie Paige

NWA National Heavyweight Championship Match: Silas Mason vs. Burchill

The Thrillbilly defends his title against the man who once was a pirate in the WWE and had a hot sister. Another match that should be very good may be the dark horse match of the evening. I like Burchill, but I don’t think this title will be switching here. Mason is a talented dude with a good wrestler with a big future. Look for lots of thrills as Mason retains the belt.

NWA Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Pretty Empowered vs. King Bees.

Pretty Empowered, aka Envy & Paige, defending their titles against Charity King & Danni Bee, aka The King Bees. Question. If it’s a female tag team, why are they the “King Bees”? Shouldn’t it be “Queen Bees” instead? Damn, all this them/they bullshit! It’s getting confusing. I think the belts are staying with the champions.

Winners and STILL NEW Women’s Tag Team Champions: Pretty Empowered.

NWA World TV Championship & World Women’s TV Championship Unification Match: Max The Impaler vs. Mims.

Intergender action at its best as Max the Impaler takes on Matthew Mims. Is Vince Russo booking this crap? I know that James Mitchell is the manager for Max the Impaler and that ensures that goofy wrestling will be the rule of the day for this match. sighs Let’s go for Max to win. She’ll impale Mims and become a double champion.

Winner and NEW Unified NWA World TV Champion/World Women’s TV Champion: Max the Impaler.

NWA United States Tag Team Championship Match: The Immortals vs. The Slimeballz.

Odinson and Kratos, The Immortals are defending against Sage Chantz & Tommy Rant, aka The Slimeballz. The Immortals are big and powerful. The Slimeballz are wild and crazy. This should be a fun match. The Immortals have held the U.S. Tag Team Championship titles for a while and I can see a title switch happening here.

Winners and NEW United States Tag Team Champions: The Slimeballz.

NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship Match: Colby Corino vs. Mecha Wolf.

Mecha Wolf is a damn good Lucha wrestler and has been part of the tag team champions on a couple of occasions. He’s a good wrestler. And Colby, he’s a second-generation star and pretty damn good in his own right. This should be a good match. I think Colby should retain it.

Winner and STILL NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion: Colby Corino.

Anthony Andrews & Zyon vs. The Country Gentlemen

The Country Gentlemen, A.J. Cazana & Anthony Andrews, are former NWA Tag Team Champions. I don’t have a clue who Anthony Andrews is, but I have heard of Zyon. This match is just filler in my opinion, but it should be an okay match. I’ll go with The Country Gentlemen to win.

Winner: The Country Gentlemen.

The Kidz vs. The Miserably Faithful

I have no idea who The Kidz are. Gaagz The Gymp, Judais & Sal The Pal are the Miserably Faithful. I don’t have a clue here about who these people are or why they’re wrestling, but why let that stop me from making a prediction, right? A Gymp and The Pal sounds like winners to me. The Miserably Faithful are winning here.

Winners: The Miserably Faithful.

Thom Latimer vs. Bryan Idol.

I’ve seen Latimer wrestle several times and why this guy isn’t in WWE or AEW, I have no idea. He’s good. I have no idea who Bryan Idol is. Maybe it’s Billy and Austin’s secret love child. Who knows? He’s not winning though. Latimer wins.

Winner: Thom Latimer.

Daisy Kill & Talos vs. The New Spectaculars 2.0.

The New Spectaculars 2.0 are Rolando Freeman, Rush Freeman, and Slade. Rolando is wrestling in a triple-threat match against Eric Smalls and Gustavo so for this match, New Spectaculars 2.0 are Rush & Slade. As for Daisy Kill and Talos, they’re themselves for this match. More filler for the masses. I’ll go with Daisy Kill & Talos for the win.

Winners: Daisy Kill & Talos.

Natalia Markova, Taylor Rising & Ruthie Jay vs. Miss Starr, CJ, & Missa Kate.

Miss Starr is the daughter of NWA Legend Baby Doll. I never bet against Baby Doll. Miss Starr, CJ, and Missa Kate win.

Winners: Miss Starr, CJ & Missa Kate.

Eric Smalls vs. Gustavo vs. Rolando

I’ll go with Gustavo for this one. No reason really, but it just feels right.

Winner: Gustavo.

And there you go with my predictions for NWA Paranoia, live this Saturday on PPV. It’s a loaded show with twelve matches, most of which are relatively unknown talents.
