It’s the wrestling Q&A that your mother warned you about. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A and we’re playing catch up today. Are you ready? Let’s roll.
David Flair, Daffney & Crowbar versus Dom Mysterio, JD McDonagh & Rhea Ripley. Who wins?
As entertaining as they were, neither David Flair nor Dafney at the time of their WCW runs, was much of an actual wrestler. Crowbar was good, but could he handle the fight alone against three top-notch performers like Dom, Rhea, and JD? I doubt it. Judgment Day wins.
Would you like to see an R-Truth podcast?
Maybe somewhere down the line when Truth decides to wind down his in-ring career, a podcast or something of that nature is in his future. Who knows, but if it’s Truth, you know it’d be a fun listen. I’d love to see/hear it.
What happened to Dan Lambert?
Well, two weeks ago, he was hanging out with Heath Miller, aka Heath Slater, and making fun of things Heath says on Twitter/X. According to Lambert, he felt that his character on AEW was getting stale and he decided to take a break, a break that continues to this day. I couldn’t find much on his current activities, but he’s still involved in MMA and has said that he may eventually return to AEW if the story is right.
I wonder what Lex Luger thinks of Sting saying the best Tag Partner he’s ever had is Darby Allin?
Lex knows how the game is played and I doubt he’s losing any sleep over Sting’s comment.
What did Hook do to deserve to challenge Samoa Joe for the AEW Championship?
You’ll have to ask Tony Khan about that because honestly, I haven’t got a clue. People like Hook and it’s an interesting match so what more reason do we need? It’s professional wrestling, right?
If Rock is indeed headlining Wrestlemania vs Roman Reigns, and we already know CM Punk is going after Seth Rollins, what do you do with Cody Rhodes? My fantasy booking would have Cody win the title at The Rumble (maybe due to the Rock) and then the Rumble winner takes Cody, leaving the Rock and Reigns as non-title. What do you think?
For that to happen, Cody would have to be wrestling Roman at the Rumble and he (Roman) is already booked in a Fatal4-Way with AJ Styles, Randy Orton, and LA Knight, yeah! If one of those men takes the title off of Roman, then they could defend against Cody at Mania while Roman fights the Rock. Not quite the same, but close.
Chris Adonis, aka Chris Masters, recently spoke during an interview about how he’d like to take his skills to either AEW, TNA, or back to the WWE for one more run with a top promotion. How do you think he’d do back in the big leagues and where would you like to see him go?
I’d love to see one more run for The Masterpiece in WWE. Masters is an experienced veteran now and be it WWE, AEW, or TNA, they would be lucky to have the man as part of their roster. I think he’d do quite well.
And there you go with the second edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A for today. Now, I have to take a break and go see the doctor. Wish me luck. I’ll be back this afternoon with most likely a third edition of the column as I continue to play catch-up. Take care and be well, my friends. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and watch out for the crazy tweets. I’ll see you at the matches.
