TNA will be resurrected this Saturday 1/13 with their Hard To Kill PPV in Las Vegas from the Palms on TNA+, TrillerTV, and more. And you know what that means, right? It’s prediction time.

TNA Champion Alex Shelley vs. Moose.

Despite a few kinks, aka injuries, Alex Shelley has had a great run thus far as the TNA Champion. That being said, it’s the start of a new era for TNA Wrestling and I can see them doing a title switch to signify a new start/new me type of deal. But Moose? He’s a good talent, but to be the face of the company? I don’t see it. Shelley retains.

Winner and STILL TNA Champion: Alex Shelley

TNA Knockouts Champion Trinity vs. Jordynne Grace.

The rumors are strong that Trinity’s contract is nearing it’s end and she’s expected to be finishing up with TNA very soon, maybe even at this last set of television tapings to return to WWE. So that means a new champion, right? Of course, it does.

Winner and NEW TNA Knockouts Champion: Jordynne Grace

TNA X-Division Champion Chris Sabin vs. KUSHIDA vs. Hijo del Vikingo.

This one could go in any direction and it would still be a good call for TNA. I don’t see Hijo del Vikingo winning due to his other commitments to AAA and AEW. So Sabin or KUSHIDA? I’m a sucker for a guy who’s name is in all-caps, so let’s go with KUSHIDA for this one.

Winner and NEW X-Division Champion: KUSHIDA

TNA’s newest signing to be revealed.

I’m saying either the man formerly known as Elias in WWE, now going by the name of Elijah, or former WWE star Mustafa Ali. Either would work well with TNA. Hmmmm. Maybe it’s Mansoor & Mace? There’s no reason that it can’t end up being more than one person, right? So why not all four of these former WWE talents? Sounds good to me.

TNA Tag Team Champions ABC vs. Grizzled Young Veterans vs. The Rascalz vs. Trent Seven & Mike Bailey.

Three veteran teams, plus the makeshift team of Trent Seven & Mike Bailey. I think the whole new year/new me situation that I mentioned earlier will figure in here to determine what direction to take the tag team titles. ABC is a great team, as is The Rascalz. The GYV is okay, but have never really impressed me all that much. I think we’re looking at new champions.

Winners and NEW TNA Tag Team Champions: Mike Bailey & Trent Seven.

Ultimate X Match: Xia Brookside vs. Jody Threat vs. Alisha Edwards vs. Tasha Steelz vs. Gisele Shaw vs. Dani Luna.

Is this the first Ultimate X match for the Knockouts? I think it might be, but I’m not sure. I think Gisele Shaw probably has the advantage over the rest of the “women” due to her origins, but all of these participants are talented women and decent performers. Let’s go with Xia Brookside for this one. After all, “X” is part of her name, right?

Winner: Xia Brookside.

TNA Digital Media Champion Tommy Dreamer vs. Crazzy Steve.

Why is Tommy Dreamer still wrestling? At least, with the Media Championship, it’s a garbage match and he’ll be okay. Crazzy Steve is a fun character and has he held any gold in TNA ever? I don’t think so. I think his time is now.

Winner and NEW TNA Digital Media Champion: Crazzy Steve.

Rich Swann vs. Steve Maclin.

The dark horse match of the night because both of these guys are damn good and can really go in that ring with the best of them. This will be the match to watch as I’m sure that Swann & Maclin will try their best to steal the show. It’s a hard call in picking a winner, but Maclin doesn’t have quite the baggage with him that Swann unfortunately does. Steve Maclin wins.

Winner: Steve Maclin.

Josh Alexander vs. the debuting Alexander Hammerstone.

Josh Alexander is an amazing wrestler and a former Impact Wrestling World Champion, but a debuting star, especially one who’s got the hype behind him as Alexander Hammerstone does, coming off his run in MLW, is not going to lose straight out of the gate.

Winner: Alexander Hammerstone.

Eric Young & Frankie Kazarian vs. Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards (with Alisha Edwards).

I keep forgetting that Eric Young is back with TNA, but he is and teaming up with Frankie Kazarian? That’s pretty cool. Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards are an odd team to me, but they’re two talented wrestlers and this should make a good match. My money is on EY & Kazarian for the win.

Winners: Eric Young & Frankie Kazarian.

Dirty Dango vs. PCO.

A former French pirate versus a former Ballroom Dancer. This one should be fun. Both men can go, but I’m not sure of the story here, nor am I sure of who’s the face and who’s the heel. I think they’re both heels. It should be a good match though. PCO should get the win.

Winner: PCO

And there you go with my predictions for the first PPV of the brand-new TNA Again era. So what do you think? What are your predictions? Let me know in the comments, along with any other thoughts, comments, or questions. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Stay good and I’ll see you at the matches.
